Abstract
Blast furnace waste gas is reutilized to provide hot gas for a sinter line or bricketting plant. the plant consists of a gas turbine whose combustible is blast furnace waste gas although liquid combustible is used for starting up or when the blast furnace gas flow is too low. A supplementary stage provides fuel for the cowper burners while other stages provide the necessary fluids for a conventional gas turbine which also receives gas from the the cowpers. The products of the gas turbine combustion chamber are directed towards the gas turbine admission while the waste is directed towards the sinter line. Cowper constructions is simplified.
