Abstract

1,155,285. Spray producers. A. SUTTER Ltd. 29 July, 1966 [9 Aug., 1965], No. 34059/ 66. Heading B2F. [Also in Division F2] A spray nozzle is connected by union 7 to a can containing an emulsion of a floor cleaning agent and a hard wax, and includes a ball closure member 4 urged against an elastic, synthetic resin seat 2. In the fully closed position of ball 4, the seat deforms into contact with a conical surface of housing 1. When the can is pressurised by a pump, the. seat distorts rightwards and the ball is unseated to allow flow to orifice 9 via chamber 12. As the pressure falls, the ball and seat move leftwards and create a partial vacuum in chamber 12 to'prevent drips.
