[Class 69 (iii)] A nozzle from a pump-barrel. b or a hose has three or more delivery jets of different types, e.g. a rose, jet and fine spray, the nozzle having ball valves g in guide channels i on the inner side of the fitting cap a to block any two of the jets. The jets shown are a rose spray c, a single jet d and a fine spray e. Fig. 3 shows guides i to direct the two balls into their seatings to close the bottom outlets. Hand rotation of the whole nozzle, say through a 120 degrees, brings a different outlet to the' top delivery position, the balls moving down to block the two lower jets.
