Claims (11)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en produkt in-nehällande etanol genom att inmata en vattenlösning av ett 5 substrat innehällande fermenterbara socker i en immobili-serade jästceller innehällande reaktor, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att reaktorn fylles med väsentligen icke-komprimerbart bärarmaterial, vilker har anjonbytaregenskaper och vilket 10 omfattar en kontinuerlig matris med stor yta eller granul-er med stor yta, varvid matrisen respektive granulerna bestär av löst bundna mikropartiklar eller mikrofibrer, vilka är kemiskt, genom adhesion eller mekaniskt bundna med varandra ätminstone pä nägra kontaktpunkter av enskil-15 da mikropartiklar eller mikrofibrer, den fyllda reaktorn steriliseras vid behov, jästceller adsorberas tili nämnda bärarmaterial genom att leda en jästsuspension genom reaktorn, fermenterbart socker innehällande substratvatten-20 lösning mätäs genom nämnda, immobiliserad jäst innehäl-lande reaktor, och den etanol innehällande produkten tillvaratages.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att mikropartiklarna och mikrofib-25 rerna bildats av anjonbytarharts.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att mikropartiklarna eller mikrofibrerna bestär av en nativ eller regenererad cellulosa, vilken modifierats sk att den har fätt anjon- 30 bytaregenskaper.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 2 och 3, kännetecknat därav, att mikropartiklarna eller mikrofibrerna bundits med varandra genom adhesions-bindningar. 35
5. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 2 och 3, kännetecknat därav, att bärarmaterialet om- 27 8 7 6 5 8 fattar granuler, vilka bildats av mikrofibrer agglomerade med polystyren, och anjonbytarhartset är dietylaminoetyl-ensubstituerad cellulosa.

Förfarande enligt patentkraven 1-5, känne-5 tecknat därav, att reaktorns fermenteringskapaci-tet regenereras genom att avlägsna det immobiliserade jästmaterialet frän bäraren i reaktorn och genom att leda ny jästsuspension genom reaktorn, varvid de nya jästcel-lerna immobiliseras pä bärarmaterialet. 10
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 6, känne- tecknat därav, att det immobiliserade jästmaterialet avlägsnas genom att leda het lut genom kolonnen, kolonnen sköljes med vatten, 15 neutraliseras genom att leda utspädd syra genom kolonnen, och ny jästsuspension mätäs genom kolonnen.
8. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 1-7, känne-tecknat därav, att substratvattenlösningen mätäs 20 genom flera reaktorer kopplade i serie, vilka reaktorer försetts med medel för avlägsnande av gas som uppstätt i var och en av reaktorerna.
9. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 1-7, känne-tecknat därav, att substratvattenlösningen inmatas -.25 i reaktorn under sä högt tryck att den bildade koldioxiden dels eller helt kvarblir i fermenteringsblandningen i upp-löst form, sä att en koldioxidhaltig etanolprodukt erhäl-les.
10. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 1-9, k ä n - 30 netecknat därav, att substratvattenlösningen i reaktorn strömmar mot tyngdkraften.
11. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 1-9, k ä n -netecknat därav, att den genom reaktorn ström-mande substratvattenlösningens rörelseriktning ändras 35 periodiskt.
