Claims (10)

1. Kopolymerisat sorti framställts genom radikaliskt initierad emulsions- eller lösningskopolymerisation av 5 omättade kopolymeriserbara monomerer och eventuellt efter-följande delvis eller fullständig neutralisation av de fria syragrupperna av kopolymerisaten genom tillsats av baser, kännetecknade därav, att kopolymerisaten bestär av 10 a) 1 - 45 vikt-% av etyleniskt omättade (C^-C^)- monokarboxylsyror, etyleniskt omättade (C^-C^)-dikarbosyl- syror eller deras halvestrar med alifatiska (C^-Cg)-alko- holer eller blandningar av dessa monomerer, företrädesvis metakrylsyra, akrylsyra, krotonsyra, maleinsyra, maleinsyra- 15 monoalkylestrar eller deras blandningar och b) 0,5-30 vikt-% av en ytaktiv krotonsyraester med den allmänna formeln I: 0 CH_-CH=CH-C-0-(CH„-CH_-0) -R (I) 3 2 2 n 20 där n är ett tai frän 2 tili 100 och R star för en ali- fatisk (C2“Cgg)-rest som kan vara lineär eller grenad, en mono-, di- eller trialkylfenylrest med alkylgrupper av 4-12 C-atomer, en rest av en blockkopolymer med formlerna Ha eller Hb: 25 - (CH-CH„-0) - (CH--CH„-0) -R1 (Ha) i 2 m 2 2 p CH3 - (CH_-CH-0) - (CH -CH0-0) -R1 ( Hb) 2. m 2 2 p CH3
30 J i vilka m är ett tai frän 10 tili 100, p är ett tai frän 0 tili 100 och R^ är H, krotyl, (C^- C2q) -alkyl, fenyl, alkylfenyl med (C1-C2Q)-alkylgrupper, eller är en per- fluorerad eller delvis fluorerad (C.-C.c)-alkylrest, och 1 ib 25 c) 30 - 85 vikt-% metakrylsyraestrar eller akryl- syraestrar av alifatiska (C1-C1g)-alkoholer eller en blandning av dessa estrar, och 28 74983 d) 0-40 vikt-% av andra etyleniskt omättade komonomerer, företrädesvis vinylestrar, aromatiska vinyl-föreningar, etyleniskt omättade nitriler, estrar av etyleniskt omättade mono- och dikarboxylsyror, sävida de 5 inte redan anförts ovan under (c), etyleniskt omättade sulfonsyror eller etyleniskt omättade sulfonsyraderivat, och e) 0 - 3 vikt-% av mangfalldigt etyleniskt omättade föreningar, företrädesvis divinylbensen, diallylftaiat, 10 butandioldiakrylat eller -dimetakrylat, och f) 0 - 5 vikt-% molekylviktsreglerare, företrädesvis dodekylmerkaptan, tetrakismerkaptoacetylpentaerytritol, koltetraklorid eller bromtriklormetan.
2. Kopolymerisat enligt patetkravet 1, k ä n n e - 15 tecknade därav, att de föreligger i delvis eller fullständigt med baser neutraliserad vattenlöslig eller i vatten kolloidalt dispergerbar form.
3. Användning av kopolymerisaten enligt patent-kravet 1 eller 2 till förtjockning av vattenhaltiga system, 20 speciellt vattenhaltiga dispersioner.
4. Användning av kopolymerisaten i delvis eller fullständigt med baser neutraliserad, vattenlöslig eller i vatten kolloidalt dispergerbar form enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2 till förtjockning av vattenhaltiga system, 25 speciellt vattenhaltiga dispersioner.
5. Avnändning av kopolymerisaten enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2 till förtjockning av dispersionsfärger, dispersionsglanslacker, textiltryckpastor eller pappers-tryckpastor.
6. Användning av kopolymerisaten i delvis eller fullständigt med baser neutraliserad, vattenlöslig eller i vatten kolloidalt dispergerbar form enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2 till förtjockning av dispersionsfärger, dispersionsglanslacker, textiltryckpastor eller papperstryck- 35 pastor. II 29 74983
7. Användning av kopolymerisaten enligt patent-kravet 1 eller 2 tili förtjockning av vattenhaltiga system, speciellt vattenhaltiga dispersioner, genom att kopolymerisaten i sin syraform som lösningar eller dis- 5 persioner i den erforderliga mängden blandas med det vattenhaltiga systemet som skall förtjockas, speciellt med dispersionen som skall förtjockas och den resulteran-de blandningen därefter genom tillsats av baser delvis eller fullständigt neutraliseras eller görs svagt alka-10 lisk sä att kopolymerisaten föreligger som i vattenlösliga eller kolloidalt dispergerbara kopolymerisatsalter.
8. Användning av kopolymerisaten enligt patent-kravet 1 eller 2 som klister i textilindustrin.
9. Förfarande för framställning av kopolymerisat 15 genom radikaliskt initierad emulsions- eller lösningskopo- lymerisation av omättade, kopolymeriserbara monomerer och eventuellt efterföljande delvis eller fullständig neutralisation av de fria syragrupperna av kopolymerisaten genom tillsats av baser, kännetecknat därav, att som 20 monomerer kopolymeriseras a) 1-45 vikt-% av etyleniskt omättade (Cg-Cg)-monokarboxylsyror, etyleniskt omättade (C^-C^)-dikarboxyl-syror eller deras halvestrar med alifatiska (C^-Cg)-alkoholer eller blandningar av dessa monomerer, föret- 25 rädesvis metakrylsyra, akrylsyra, krotonsyra, maleinsyra, maleinsyramonoalkylestrar eller deras blandningar och b) 0,5-30 vikt-% av en ytaktiv krotonsyraester med den allmännä formeln I: O 30 ch3-ch=ch-c-o-(ch2-ch2-o)-R (I) där n är ett tai frän 2 tili 100 och R star för en ali-fatisk (C2~C3q)-rest som kan vara lineär eller grenad, en mono-, di- eller trialkylfenylrest med alkylgrupper 35 av 4 - 12 C-atomer, en rest av en blockkopolymer med formlerna Ha eller Hb:
