Claims (10)
1. Förfarande för framställning av katjoniska stärkel-5 ser, i vilket förfarande stärkelsen som skall kat- joniseras uppslammas i en vatten-katjoniseringskemika-lieblandining tili ett slam med en torrsubstanshalt av cirka 40-80 %, används en katjoniseringskemikalie, säsom 2,3-epoxipropyltrimetylammoniumklorid eller en motsvaran-10 de klorhydrinfunktionell katjoniseringskemikalie cirka 90 - 1100 g per kilo stärkelse, tili slammet tillsätts ett katalytmedel, och katjoniseringskemikalien tilllätes rea-gera med stärkelsen, varvid reaktionen utförs ätminstone i tvä efter varandra följande steg, av vilka i det första 15 upprätthälles en lägre temperatur än i det andra, känne- tecknat därav, att det första steget utförs under en tid av 1-10 timmar vid upprätthällande av en temperatur av cirka 5-40 °C, och att det andra steget utförs väsentli-gen vid det första stegets torrsubstanshalt och i en tem-20 peratur av cirka 70 - 180 °C.
