CONSISTE EN LA HIDROGENACION DE LOS COMPUESTOS GRASOS INSATURADOS POR TRATAMIENTO CON HIDROGENO A UNA PRESION COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 100 Y 5.000 KPA Y A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 20JC Y 180JC, EN PRESENCIA DE 5-500 PPM EXPRESADO COMO NIQUEL, DE UN CATALIZADOR DE BORURO DE NIQUEL, PREPARADO POR MEZCLA DE UNA DISOLUCION O SUSPENSION DE UN BOROHIDRURO ALCALINO, TAL COMO BOROHIDRURO SODICO, CON UNA DISOLUCION O SUSPENSION DE UNA SAL DE NIQUEL, TAL COMO CLORURO DE NIQUEL, FINAMENTE DISPERSADO Y ESTABILIZADO CON UN POLIMERO ORGANICO LINEAL TAL COMO VINILPIRROLIDONA.
