METODO PARA PREPARAR NUEVOS DERIVADOS DE 1-SULFO-2-OXOAZETIDINA, EMPLEO DE LOS MISMOS Y COMPUESTOS INTERMEDIOS. EL NUEVO DERIVADO TIENE FORMULA (I) EN LA QUE R ES UN RESTO ORGANICO UNIDO AL ANILLO DE AZETIDINA, R1 ES UN GRUPO AMINO OPCIONALMENTE ACILADO O PROTEGIDO, X ES UN HIDROGENO O METOXI O UNA SAL O ESTER FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEPTABLE DEL NUEVO DERIVADO. EL DRIVADO (I) PUEDE OBTENERSE POR SULFONACION DE UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (II) O POR ACILACION DE UN COMPUESTO DE LA FORMULA (III). LOS DERIVADOS DE LA 1-SULFO-2-OXOAZETIDINA, SUS SALES, E ISOMEROS OPTICOS TIENEN EXCELENTE ACTIVIDAD COMO ANTIMICROBIANOS E INHIBIDORES DE LAS B-LACTAMASAS.
