CONSISTE EN TRATAR UN 3-FENOXIBENZOLDEHIDO, OPCIONALMENTE SUSTITUIDO CON CIANURO DE HIDROGENO EN UNA RELACION DE MOLES DE 1 A 3 RESPECTIVAMENTE, EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE APROTICO INMISCIBLE CON AGUA, COMO UN HIDROCARBURO AROMATICO, TIPO TOLUENO, O UN ETER, COMO DIETIL-ETER, O BIEN UNA MEZCLA DE LOS MIMOS, Y UN CATALIZADOR, DEL TIPO DE DEPEPTIDO CICLO (D-FENILALANIL-D-HISTIDINA), PARA OBTENER UN ALCOHOL S-ALFA-CIANO-3-FENOXIBENCILICO OPCIONALMENTE SUSTITUIDO O UNA MEZCLA ENRIQUECIDA DEL MISMO.
