METODO PARA PRODUCIR FERROSILICIO A PARTIR DE UN MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE SILICE, UN AGENTE REDUCTOR Y UN MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE HIERRO, MEDIANTE LA REDUCCION DIRECTA DE LA SILICE Y REACCION SIMULTANEA ENTRE LA SILICE Y EL HIERRO.COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, EL MATERIAL EN FORMA DE POLVO QUE CONTIENE SILICE Y EL MATERIAL BRUTO DE HIERRO, POSIBLEMENTE JUNTO CON UN AGENTE REDUCTOR, SON INYECTADOS CON AYUDA DE UN GAS PORTADOR DENTRO DE UN GAS DE PLASMA GENERADO POR UN GENERADOR DE PLASMA; SEGUNDA, LA SILICE, EL MATERIAL BRUTO DE HIERRO Y EL AGENTE REDUCTOR,UNA VEZ QUE HAN SIDO CALENTADOS, SE INTRODUCEN CON EL GAS DE PLASMA RICO EN ENERGIA DENTRO DE UNA CAMARA DE REACCION RODEADA SUSTANCIALMENTE POR TODOS LADOS POR UN AGENTE REDUCTOR SOLIDO TROCEADO; Y POR ULTIMO, EN DICHA CAMARA DE REACCION LA SILICE SE FUNDE Y ES REDUCIDA PARA FORMAR SILICIO, EL CUAL SE COMBINA CON EL HIERRO PARA FORMAR FERROSILICIO.
