CONSISTE EN PONER EN CONTACTO CIANURO DE HIDROGENO, HIDROGENO Y UN HIDROCARBURO CON 1 A 4 ATOMOS DE CARBONO, ASI COMO PEQUEÑAS CANTIDADES DE NITROGENO, MONOXIDO DE CARBONO Y AGUA, CON ZEOLITAS. EL AMONIACO ABSORBIDO SE RECUPERA DE NUEVO EN UNA ETAPA DE DESORCION, MIENTRAS QUE EL GAS PRODUCTO -EXENTO DE AMONIACO- SE CONDENSA. LAS ZEOLITAS EMPLEADAS SON DEL TIPO A, X, Y Y P O ZEOLITAS NATURALES, TALES COMO MORDENITA, CLINOPTILOLITA O ERIONITA. LA ADSORCION SE EFECTUA A TEMPERATURA DE 20 A 200 GC, EMPLEANDOSE UN GAS DE BARRIDO TAL COMO AIRE, NITROGENO O HIDROGENO, O BIEN UN HIDROCARBURO.
