Abstract

Un procedimiento para el esmaltado parcial de objetos de acero inoxidable, los cuales junto con zonas de superficie esmaltadas de modo firmemente adherente tienen superficies metálicas no cubiertas con esmalte, con aspecto decorativo, y por lo menos en las zonas a esmaltar son sometidos a un tratamiento previo con el fin de aumentar la resistencia de adherencia del esmalte, caracterizado porque por lo menos las zonas superficiales a esmaltar, después del desengrasado, son provistas con una capa intermedia adherente a base de níquel, cobalto o cobre y luego son provistas con una capa de hierro aplicada por vía galvánica, y porque después del secado en estufa del esmalte las zonas de superficie no esmaltadas son limpiadas y en caso deseado son elaboradas y transformadas decorativamente.
