Abstract

PURPOSE:In production of steel plate for use in automobile, by continuous one-side galvanizing, one side of steel plate is first provided with anti-plating surface by forming chromic anodized layer. So treated, the plate is immersed into galvanizing bath, thereby to effect complete one-side galvanizing and to facilitate easy removal of galvanize plating from the other anti-plating surface. CONSTITUTION:Steel plate is degreased and pickled, and the surface to be treated as anti-plating surface is coated, or preferably sprayed with chromic anodizing solution to form chromate layer. The so treated steel plate is introduced into molten plating bath to perform one-side plating. A preferred chromic acid concentration in the treating solution is 10 to 200 g/1.
