Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a coating layer of Fe-Ni-Cr alloy excellent in heat resistance and corrosion resistance, by subjecting the surface of an iron and steel member to double layer plating treatment with Cr and Ni and then heating the above in a molten salt bath of borax, etc., to diffuse Cr and Ni into the surface of the iron and steel member.
