Abstract

1.Un aparato para apagar coque en seco, en el que se enfría el coque mediante el paso a su través de un mezcla de hidrocarburos y vapor de agua, con lo que se obtiene un gas que contiene hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono, aparato que comprende una cámara provista de unos medios para cargar y descargar coque de la misma, unos medios de entrada para introducir en dicha cámara una mezcla de hidrocarburos y vapor de agua y un colector de salida para el escape de gas conteniendo hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono, caracterizado porque se han previsto unos medios destinados a dar paso a su través a un vehículo portador de calor de entrada y salida de la parte superior de la camara y montados encima del colector, teniendo la parte inferior de la cámara montados en la misma medios para dar paso de entrada y salida a su través a un gas de refrigeración inerte, estando hechos los medios de entrada para el paso de la mezcla de hidrocarburos y vapor de agua en forma de una tubería ramificada situada en la parte central de la cámara y que tiene su abertura de salida dispuesta en la parte media de la cámara encima de los medios para el flujo de entrada y de salida de gas inerte.
