Abstract

Procédé de transformation ultérieure de gaz de fours à coke, selon lequel on soumet le gaz chaud de four à coke a sortant des batteries de fours à coke, directement, c'est-à-dire sans refroidissement ni épuration, à une oxydation partielle 2 au moyen d'oxygène, d'air enrichi en oxygene ou d'un autre mélange gazeux 1 renfermant de l'oxygene, et on le craque pour le transformer en gaz de craquage b, riche en monoxyde de carbone et en hydrogène.
