Abstract

Método para la transformación del gas de hornos de coque, caracterizado porque el gas caliente de horno de coque, procedente de la batería de hornos de coque, se somete directamente, es decir, sin refrigeración ni depuración a oxidación parcial por medio de oxígeno, de aire cargado de oxígeno, o de otras mezclas de gases que contengan oxígeno, se desdobla, y de esta forma se convierte en un gas de desdoblamiento abundante en hidrógeno y en monóxido de carbono.
