Un sistema (400) para realizar en un cartucho microfluídico (401) al menos las etapas de captura de moléculas diana de una muestra, amplificación de las moléculas diana y detección de uno o más valores indicativos de la presencia de las moléculas diana en la muestra, que comprende: - un sistema de detección (455); - miembros de accionador (441-444) y accionadores (437-440); - un unidad de válvula (435); - un compresor (431); - una unidad de control (471); y - un sistema de calentamiento y/o enfriamiento, comprendiendo al menos una parte del cartucho microfluídico (451) un primer y un segundo elemento de calentamiento/enfriamiento, en el que al menos uno de los elementos de calentamiento/enfriamiento está montado de forma flexible, permitiendo, por tanto, adaptar de forma flexible el elemento de calentamiento/enfriamiento a una estructura del cartucho microfluídico, y en el que el primer elemento de calentamiento/enfriamiento se dispone cerca de una superficie superior de un sustrato del cartucho microfluídico y el segundo elemento de calentamiento/enfriamiento tiene un rebajo central (459) para permitir una detección óptica de moléculas en un pocillo central del cartucho microfluídico (401).
