Abstract

Un método in vitro para analizar un fluido corporal que contiene células, en que dicho método comprende: teñir un fluido corporal que comprende menos de 100 células/μl y seleccionado entre líquido cefalorraquídeo, líquido peritoneal, líquido pericárdico, líquido pleural, líquido sinovial, orina, saliva, lágrimas, semen, líquido amniótico, esputo y líquido ascítico, con un colorante fluorescente, en el que el colorante fluorescente está presente en una cantidad entre 0,000001 y 0,5 % (p/v), penetra en una membrana celular y se une a un ácido nucleico para formar un complejo colorante en el interior de la célula; irradiar el fluido corporal teñido con energía procedente de una fuente de energía; medir una señal de fluorescencia emitida por el complejo colorante en el fluido corporal teñido; y diferenciar células con núcleos de células sin núcleos, basándose en la presencia o ausencia del colorante fluorescente.
