Abstract

Proceso para la obtención simultánea de diversas composiciones que comprenden ésteres alquílicos de ácidos grasos, glicerol formal y el bioéster de éster de glicerol formal de ácidos grasos, que comprende las siguientes etapas: (A) hacer reaccionar triglicérido, glicerol, y dialcoximetano en presencia de un catalizador ácido homogéneo o heterogéneo, formando así dos fases, en las que la fase superior comprende una mezcla de ésteres alquílicos de ácidos grasos, ésteres de glicerol formal de ácidos grasos y un exceso de dialcoximetano y alcohol alquílico, y la fase inferior comprende una mezcla de glicerol formal, exceso de glicerol y catalizador homogéneo si se ha utilizado un catalizador homogéneo en la reacción; (B1) separar el dialcoximetano y el alcohol alquílico de la fase superior para obtener una composición que comprende ésteres alquílicos de ácidos grasos y ésteres de glicerol formal de ácidos grasos; o en lugar de (B1), la etapa (C) de hacer reaccionar los compuestos de la fase superior obtenidos según la etapa (A) con una mezcla de alcohol alquílico y catalizador ácido para obtener una composición que comprende ésteres alquílicos de ácidos grasos y una composición que comprende glicerol formal; (B2) separar el glicerol formal del glicerol no reaccionado y el catalizador homogéneo si se ha utilizado un catalizador homogéneo en la etapa (A) de la fase inferior para obtener una composición que comprende glicerol formal; (D) llevar a cabo una reacción de transesterificación entre la composición obtenida en la etapa (B1) o la composición que comprende ésteres alquílicos de ácidos grasos obtenida en la etapa (C) y la composición que comprende glicerol formal obtenida en la etapa (C) en presencia de un catalizador de transesterificación homogéneo o heterogéneo para formar una composición que comprende ésteres de glicerol formal de ácidos grasos.
