Abstract
Procedimiento para la síntesis del ácido 2,5-furanodicarboxílico mediante la oxidación de 5-hidroximetilfurfural por una corriente de oxígeno, catalizada por un catalizador soportado que contiene un metal del grupo del platino, que se lleva a cabo en una solución acuosa cuyo pH se mantiene superior a 7 e inferior a 12 mediante la adición de una base débil seleccionada de entre el grupo que consiste en bicarbonato de sodio, bicarbonato de potasio, carbonato de sodio, carbonato de potasio, carbonato de calcio, carbonato de magnesio, hidróxido de calcio, hidróxido de magnesio, soluciones tampón de fosfato dibásico y tribásico y sus mezclas.
