Abstract

Composición de caucho de silicona que comprende: (A) 100 partes en masa de un diorganopolisiloxano que tiene un promedio de al menos dos grupos alquenilo en una molécula; (B) un organopolisiloxano que tiene un promedio de al menos dos átomos de hidrógeno enlazados a silicio (donde la relación molar entre los átomos de hidrógeno enlazados a silicio de este componente y los grupos alquenilo del componente (A) está en el intervalo de 0,01 a 20); (C) de 1 a 200 partes en masa de un precipitado o de un polvo de carbonato de calcio ligero tratado superficialmente con un ácido graso o un ácido resínico; (D) de 0,01 a 20 partes en masa de un diorganopolisiloxano terminalmente protegido en ambos terminales moleculares con grupos silanol libres de grupos alquenilo y átomos de hidrógeno enlazados a silicio; y (E) un catalizador para la reacción de hidrosililación (utilizado en la cantidad requerida para endurecer la composición).

Aplicación industrial
Puesto que la composición de caucho de silicona de la presente invención, que contiene un polvo de carbonato de
5 calcio y que se puede endurecer mediante una reacción de hidrosililación, puede producir un caucho de silicona con propiedades físicas diseñadas inicialmente y adhesión al caucho de silicona incluso después de un almacenamiento prolongado, es adecuada para la laminación con tejidos que contengan caucho de silicona o estén recubiertos con caucho de silicona. Por ejemplo, la composición se puede utilizar como un agente adhesivo o sellador entre dos bordes de un cojín de aire que se superpongan uno con otro para que se unan por adhesión o mediante una costura.
