Abstract

La invención se refiere a un procedimiento que incluye las siguientes etapas: obtener una cabeza de cilindro hecho de una aleación ligera de fundición no refinada, que incluye zonas de asiento de válvula; efectuar una deposición por arco de plasma transferido sobre las zonas de asiento de una capa de revestimiento de una aleación con la siguiente composición: en porcentajes de peso: Ni 13-20, Mo 2-8, Co 0-10, Fe 2-8, Si 2-4, B 1-3, Cu el resto; elaboración de la capa de revestimiento para obtener la forma y textura superficial deseadas para los asientos de válvulas integrados. La invención es aplicable a cabezas de cilindro de aluminio de motores de combustión interna.
