Abstract

Cortacircuitos eléctrico (10) que comprende un recinto (12) lleno de fluido aislante, al menos dos contactos opuestos (14, 16) alojados en el recinto que pueden separarse produciendo un arco, un accionador (22) para mover axialmente un contacto con respecto al otro, teniendo el accionador un émbolo (24) montado, con lo cual, en operación, el movimiento axial del accionador hace que el émbolo (24) comprima un fluido purgativo que está en el área donde se produce el arco para ayudar a extinguir el arco, caracterizado porque se proporcionan unos medios (26, 28) para dirigir unos flujos separados axiales y radiales de fluido purgativo comprimido hasta la zona situada entre los contactos donde se produce el arco.
