Abstract
Artículo moldeado a base de dióxido de silicio, útil como soporte de catalizador para la producción de un monómero de acetato de vinilo. Un artículo moldeado de dióxido de silicio (I) se caracteriza porque tiene forma de un cilindro hueco que tiene tirantes internos de refuerzo o radios que se extienden desde la pared interna del cilindro en el centro del artículo o contiene un número de canales pasantes. Se incluyen reivindicaciones independientes: a) un procedimiento para la producción de (I) amasando y formando y/o extrusionando el artículo, opcionalmente cortando la longitud, secando a 10-15ºC y calentando a 400-1.200ºC durante 30 minutos a 10 horas; b) un catalizador soportado para la producción de un monómero de acetato de vinilo que comprende compuestos, opcionalmente con oro (Pd(álcali/Au), cadmio (Pd/álcali/Cd) y/o bario (Pd/álcali/Ba); y c) un procedimiento para la producción del catalizador soportado por impregnación, pulverización, evaporación, inmersión o precipitación de compuestos de Pd, Au, Cd y /o Ba sobre (I) con opcionalmente reducción de los compuestos metálicos reducibles, opcionalmente lavando los componentes de cloruro, impregnación con compuestos de acetato de álcali o compuestos álcali.
