Máquina-herramienta, en especial para la mecanización de piezas de trabajo con arranque de virutas en al menos tres ejes con a) al menos una unidad de mecanización que muestra al menos un husillo de trabajo (1) que puede accionarse de forma giratoria alrededor de un eje de giro y que está dotado preferiblemente de un cabezal revólver (2) que muestra varios husillos (3) accionados, que soportan respectivamente una herramienta (5) en un soporte de herramienta (4) y pueden trasladarse en el espacio de trabajo (6) en las direcciones X, Y y Z, b) al menos un cargador de herramientas (7, 40) dispuesto en el espacio de trabajo (6) y c) mecanismos de accionamiento para el cambio automático de las herramientas (5), sin sujeción intermedia, del soporte de herramienta (4) en el husillo (3) al soporte de herramienta (9, 41) en el cargador de herramientas (7, 40) y a la inversa, caracterizada por d) un soporte de herramienta (4) en el husillo (3) con un mandril de expansión hidráulica (29), que puede comprimirse automáticamente con ayuda del husillo (3) contra el árbol de herramientas (20), e) un anillo (33, 34) dispuesto con movimiento giratorio sobre el soporte de herramienta (4) del husillo (3) para accionar al menos un émbolo hidráulico (31/32), que puede desplazarse linealmente, para apretar y aflojar el mandril de expansión hidráulica (29) mediante la variación de la presión del medio hidráulico y f) elementos dispuestos en el anillo (33, 34) para el seguro contra giro (36/37) que, al aflojar o apretar el mandril de expansión hidráulica (29), mediante el giro del soporte de herramienta (4) fijan el anillo (33, 34) al soporte de herramienta (9, 41) del cargador de herramientas (7, 40).
