SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA RECUPERACION DE UN POLIMERO INICIALMENTE LATENTE A PARTIR DE UN CEMENTO PRODUCIDO EN UN PROCESO DE POLIMERIZACION. EL CEMENTO POLIMERICO VIVO SE INHIBE, LAVA, ESTABILIZA, COAGULA Y SECA. EL PROCESO DE RECUPERACION COMPRENDE AÑADIR UN INHIBIDOR AL POLIMERO DEL CEMENTO, LAVAR EL RESIDUO DE CATALIZADOR DEL POLIMERO CON AGUA, AÑADIR UN ANTI - OXIDANTE IRGANOX 1520 AL CEMENTO PARA ESTABILIZAR EL POLIMERO, AÑADIR AL POLIMERO ACEITE DE SEMILLA DE SOJA EPOXIDADO, PARA ESTABILIZAR EL POLIMERO CONTRA LA DEGRADACION DEL COLOR, Y COAGULAR Y SECAR EL POLIMERO. EL PH DEL CEMENTO SE REGULA EN LA ESCALA DE 3 A 7 APROXIMADAMENTE, Y A SER POSIBLE DE 6 A 7 APROXIMADAMENTE, DURANTE LAS ETAPAS DE LAVADO Y COAGULACION DEL CATALIZADOR DEL PROCESO DE RECUPERACION. SE DESCRIBE IGUALMENTE UN PRODUCTO DE ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO. EL PRODUCTO Y EL PROCEDIMIENTO EXIGEN EL USO DE UN SISTEMA ANTI - OXIDANTE PREFERIDO, QUE ELIMINA LAS PREOCUPACIONES HIGIENICAS ASOCIADAS A LOS ACTUALES SISTEMAS ANTI - OXIDANTES QUE SE UTILIZAN EN PROCESOS DE POLIMERIZACION ANIONICA, AL MISMO TIEMPO QUE PROPORCIONA UN PRODUCTO POLIMERICO CON EXCELENTES CARACTERISTICAS DE COLOR Y ESTABILIDAD, ADECUADO PARA SU USO EN APLICACIONES DE POLIESTIRENO CON ELEVADA RESISTENCIA A LOS CHOQUES.
