SE OBTIENEN CONCENTRADOS DE TOCOFEROL, QUE CONTIENEN DEL 20 AL 80% EN PESO DE TOCOFEROL, CON UNA RECUPERACION TOTAL DE TOCOFEROL DEL 72 AL 97%. EL PROCEDIMIENTO COMPRENDE, PRIMERAMENTE, UNA REACCION DE ESTERIFICACION, EN LA QUE LOS ALCOHOLES MAS VOLATILES SE CONVIERTEN EN SUS ESTERES DE ACIDOS GRASOS MENOS VOLATILES. DICHA FASE, ESTA SEGUIDA DE UNA SERIE DE FASES DE DESTILACION, EN LAS QUE LOS COMPONENTES CON PUNTOS DE EBULLICION SUPERIORES EN INFERIORES A LOS DEL TOCOFEROL, SE SEPARAN DE LOS TOCOFEROLES Y OTRAS SUSTANCIAS DE PUNTOS DE EBULLICION SIMILARES.
