Abstract

Nuevo proceso de extraccion y concentracion de substáncias insaponificables, conteniendo vitaminas y provitaminas liposolubles, factores de crecimiento yhormonas vegetales y animales a partir de residuos de la industrializacion de productos de origenvegetal o animal, sin utilizacion de solventes y con elobjetivo de obtenerse la separacion de estos productos requisitados por destilacion y alto vacio, y la produccion de ácidos grasos y otros ácidosorgánicos, de alta calidad, siendo que la recuperacion de la fraccion saponificable de residuos de la industrializacion de productos animales o vegetales es degran interés comercial, debido a que los llamados productos requisitados, en muchos casos poseen actividad vitamínica como: los tocoferoles, lostocotrienoles,carotenoides, vitamina A, vitamina K, vitamina D, mientras que otros de esos productos presentan propiedades reductoras del colesterol, como:losesteroles,tocotrienoles,el escualeno, etc, o propiedades anti-oxidantes como: los tocoferoles y los tocotrienoles, así como propiedades anticancerígenas,como:los tocotrienoles,los esteroles, el licopeno, el alfa-carotenoide y algunos otros de esos productos que sirven como estructura para la síntesis química, comolos esteroles para lasíntesis de hormonas, síntesis de vitamina D, y todavía otros productos que poseen propiedades nutricéuticas, así como el interéscomercial en allgunos productos que en formulas para cosméticos, presentan propiedades emulsionantes, estabilizantes deemulsiones y/o modificadores deviscosidad como los esteroles.
