Abstract

Evacuación de arsénico a partir de soluciones que contienen dióxido de azufre; se trata de un procedimiento que crea un método para eliminar arsénico a partir de soluciones que contienen dióxido de azufre de una manera aceptable para el medio ambiente; este procedimiento oxida primeramente el arsénico, el hierro y el dióxido de azufre contenidos en una solución acuosa con el fin de preparar a la solución para precipitación y mejorar el control del procedimiento; el precipitado neutralizado reciclado forma núcleos en (nuclea a) la solución acuosa oxidada; una base que contiene calcio hace precipitar los productos de neutralización en los materiales nucleados; el precipitado neutralizado final contiene compuestos estables de arseniato férrico.
