PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UNA MEMBRANA DE INTERCAMBIO CATIONICO, COLOCANDO UN POLIMERO ORGANICO CON GRUPOS DE ACIDO SULFONICO ASI COMO PARTICULAS FINAMENTE DIVIDIDAS Y QUE SON CONDUCTORAS DE LA ELECTRICIDAD Y DE UN MATERIAL CATALITICO EN FASE LIQUIDA Y RECUBRIENDO CON LA SUSPENSION QUE SE FORMA UNA LAMINA DE UN MATERIAL DE INTERCAMBIO CATIONICO AL MENOS POR UN LADO, CARACTERIZADO PORQUE EL POLIMERO ORGANICO CON GRUPOS DE ACIDO SULFONICO ES SOLUBLE EN UN DISOLVENTE POLAR APROTICO Y CONTIENEN UNIDADES DE LA FORMULA (AR 1 X) Y (AR 2 Y), QUE ESTAN SUSTITUIDAS AL MENOS PARCIALMENTE CON GRUPOS DE ACIDO SULFONICO, SIENDO AR 1 Y AR 2 IGUALES O DIFERENTES Y SIGNIFICANDO RADICALES DE ARILENO BIVALENTES, X ES OXIGENO O AZUFRE E Y ES UN RADICAL CARBONILICO, DE SULFOXIDO O DE SULFONILO, Y DISOLVIENDO ESTE MATERIAL EN UN DISOLVENTE, SE SUSPENDE EN LA SOLUCION UN MATERIAL CATALITICO FINAMENTE DISTRIBUIDO Y CONDUCTOR DE LA ELECTRICIDAD Y SE RECUBRE CON ESTA SUSPENSION UNA LAMINA, QUE CONTIENE UNINTERCAMBIADOR POLIMERICO DE CATIONES CON GRUPOS DE ACIDO SULFONICO, Y SE TRATA EL RECUBRIMIENTO QUE CONTIENE EL DISOLVENTE CON UN LIQUIDO, QUE ES MEZCLABLE CON UN DISOLVENTE, PERO QUE SIN EMBARGO NO ES SOLUBLE CON EL MATERIAL DE INTERCAMBIO CATIONICO QUE ESTA DISUELTO, FORMANDOSE ASI POROS EN LA LAMINA RESULTANTE QUE RECUBRE LA MEMBRANA.
