EL OBJETIVO DE LA INVENCION ES UN PROCESO PARA LA SEPARACION DE DIOXIDO DE AZUFRE A PARTIR DE GAS DE EXHAUSTACION, DONDE EL GAS DE EXHAUSTACION SE GUIA A UNA TORRE DE ABSORCION CON AGUA DE MAR. LA ACUMULACION DE LIQUIDO DE LA TORRE DE ABSORCION SE VENTILA, DONDE EL BISULFITO CONTENIDO EN EL LIQUIDO SE TRANSFORMA EN BISULFATO. EL LIQUIDO SE EXTRAE A PARTIR DE LA ACUMULACION DE LIQUIDO DE LA TORRE DE ABSORCION Y POR MOTIVOS DE FORMACION DE SULFATO Y NEUTRALIZACIONES SE MEZCLA EN LA ZONA POSTERIOR DE REACCION CON AGUA DE MAR FRESCA. EL VALOR PH DEL LIQUIDO DERIVADO A PARTIR DE LA ACUMULACION DE LIQUIDO DE LA TORRE DE ABSORCION SE MIDE, Y SE DETERMINAN LAS DESVIACIONES DEL VALOR DE MEDICION CON RESPECTO A UNA ZONA DE PH DESDE PH 4,0 HASTA PH 5 SEGUN UN VALOR TEORICO DETERMINADO. DE ACUERDO CON LAS MEDIDAS EN BASE A LAS DESVIACIONES DEL VALOR DE MEDICION SE REGULAN EN LA ACUMULACION DEL LIQUIDO DE LAVADO DE FORMA INMEDIATA EN LA CORRIENTE DE ADICION DE AGUA DE MAR GUIADA O EN LA ACUMULACION DE LIQUIDO EN LA ZONA DE ABSORCION DE LA TORRE LA CORRIENTE DE LIQUIDO GUIADO A ELLA.
