Abstract
UN PROBLEMA CRECIENTE EN EL SISTEMA DE RECUPERACION QUIMICA DE FABRICACION DE PULPA, ES LA PRESENCIA DE CLORURO Y DE POTASIO EN LA CALDERA DE RECUPERACION. EL CLORURO Y EL POTASIO INCREMENTA ENTRE OTRAS COSAS LA VISCOSIDAD DE LOS DEPOSITOS SOBRANTES Y DE LAS PARTICULAS DE POLVO QUE SE DIRIGEN HACIA LOS TUBOS DE LA CALDERA DE RECUPERACION, LO QUE ACELERA EL ENSUCIAMIENTO, LA CORROSION Y EL TAPONAMIENTO DE LA CALDERA DE RECUPERACION. A MEDIDA QUE LA LEGISLACION MEDIO AMBIENTAL SE HACE MAS ESTRICTA, SE INCREMENTA EL GRADO DE CERRAMIENTO DEL SISTEMA. LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO MEDIANTE EL CUAL EL POLVO PRECIPITANTE RECOGIDO (1) ES LIXIVADO (2), A UNA TEMPERATURA QUE EXCEDE DE LOS 50 (GRADOS) C, DURANTE UN TIEMPO DE RESIDENCIA SUFICIENTE PARA OBTENER UNA SOLUCION DE LIXIVACION ENRIQUECIDA EN CLORURO Y POTASIO (4) Y PARA ELIMINAR AL MENOS UNA PARTE DEL CONTENIDO DE IONES DE METAL EN UNA FASE SOLIDA (3). LA SOLUCION DE LIXIVACION SE TRATA ELECTROQUIMICAMENTE (5), PREFERIBLEMENTE EN UNA PILA DE ELECTRODIALISIS, PARA ELIMINAR AL MENOS UNA PARTE DEL CLORURO Y DEL POTASIO CONTENIDO EN LA MISMA. MEDIANTE EL SIGUIENTE PROCESO, PUEDE REDUCIRSE SUBSTANCIALMENTE EL PROBLEMA DE LOS DEPOSITOS VISCOSOS EN LA CALDERA DE RECUPERACION. ESTO SIGNIFICA UN USO EFICIENTEMENTE MEJORADO DE LA ENERGIA ASI COMO UN MAYOR GRADO DE RECUPERACION DE LOS PRODUCTOS QUIMICOS DE FABRICACION Y BLANQUEADO DE LA PULPA.
