CADA FASE DE CONVERSION INCLUYE UN CIRCUITO DE MUESTREO Y RETENCION PARA MUESTREAR UNA SEÑAL ANALOGA DESDE UNA FASE PREVIA, UN COMPARADOR PARA COMPARARLA CON UN NIVEL DE TENSION ESPECIFICADO PARA PRODUCIR UNA SEÑAL LOGICA EN UNO O DOS NIVELES DISCRETOS DEPENDIENDO DE SI LA SEÑAL RECIBIDA DESDE LA FASE PREVIA ES SUPERIOR O INFERIOR AL NIVEL ESPECIFICADO. LA SEÑAL RECIBIDA DESDE LA FASE PREVIA SE SUMA A UNA TENSION DE REFERENCIA PREVISTA DE UNA DE LAS POLARIDADES OPUESTAS DEPENDIENDO DEL NIVEL DE LA SEÑAL LOGICA PARA PRODUCIR UNA SEÑAL DE SALIDA ANALOGA.
