FORMULACIONES DE COMPUESTOS DE PARTICULAS LIPIDICAS Y LIPOSOMAS SE PREPARAN DISOLVIENDO EN UNA SOLUCION DE LIPIDOS FORMADORES DE LIPOSOMAS EN UN SOLVENTE APROTICO COMO EL DMSO, QUE CONTIENE OPCIONALMENTE UNA CANTIDAD SOLUBILIZABLE EN LIPIDOS DE UN ALCANOL INFERIOR, E INYECTANDO LA SOLUCION RESULTANTE EN UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA. LA SUSPENSION DE PARTICULA LIPIDICA O DE LIPOSOMAS RESULTANTE PUEDE ENTONCES DIALIZARSE O BIEN CONCENTRARSE. ESTE METODO ES ESPECIALMENTE UTIL PARA COMPUESTOS QUE SON POCO SOLUBLES EN SOLUCION ACUOSA, PERO ES GENERALMENTE UTIL PARA CUALQUIER COMPUESTO O COMBINACION DE COMPUESTOS QUE PUEDEN DISOLVERSE EN EL SOLVENTE APROTICO O LA MEZCLA DE SOLVENTE APROTICO/ALCANOL INFERIOR.
