PRIMERO SE PREPARA UN PRIMER PRODUCTO DEL DISPOSITIVO DE DESCARGA EN CORONA (50) QUE ESTA PROVISTO CON UN PRIMER Y UN SEGUNDO ELECTRODOS PLANOS (54; 56) ACOPLADOS DE FORMA CAPACITIVA UNO AL OTRO MEDIANTE UN TERCER ELECTRODO FLOTANTE (64) QUE ESTA RECUBIERTO CON UNA CAPA PROTECTORA (68) DE UN MATERIAL QUIMICAMENTE RESISTENTE Y ELECTRICAMENTE AISLANTE. ENTONCES SE APLICA UN VOLTAJE ALTERNATIVO DE ALTA FRECUENCIA QUE TIENE UN NIVEL DE TENSION MAYOR QUE EL NIVEL DE TENSION INICIAL MINIMO PARA LA DESCARGA DE LA CHISPA HASTA QUE LA CAPA PROTECTORA SE CURA.
