Abstract

Un interruptor eléctrico, con apertura de circuito automático en función del tiempo de servicio, funcionando por acción térmica que produce la dilatación de un núcleo, caracterizado por el hecho de que el circuito de servicio se cierra por la acción de un electroimán excitado a voluntad desde un pulsador exterior sobre las palancas o contactos adecuados. Por el hecho de que la posición de los contactos conseguida por la acción del electroimán se mantiene temporalmente por la interposición de un tope basculante accionado por la dilatación del núcleo o varilla de un electro-termostato excitado por la misma corriente del electroimán. Por el hecho, de que el tope basculante al pasar a sostener al contacto o palanca que mantiene cerrado al circuito, corta al circuito de excitación del electroimán y de la resistencia, con lo que cae a su posición primitiva el núcleo magnético, e inicia su regresión el núcleo del electro-termostato al enfriarse la resistencia, y por tanto, también inicia su movimiento regresivo el tope que mantiene cerrado al circuito de servicio. Por el hecho de que al final de este movimiento regresivo, el tope libere al contacto y se corte con ello el circuito de servicio.
