Abstract

Es werden ein Werkzeug, eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren sowie eine Verwendung zum zonalen Polieren von optischen Werkstücken vorgeschlagen, wobei das Werkzeug eine vorgeformte Kappe zur Bildung einer Polierfläche aufweist und das Werkzeug am zu polierenden Werkstück derart angestellt wird, dass der Kippwinkel der Rotationsachse des Werkzeugs zu der Normalen der Anlagefläche am Werkstück und/oder die Größe der Anlagefläche zumindest im Wesentlichen konstant bleibt bzw. bleiben.
