Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tube supply device for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins, which has a plurality of work stations arranged next to one another and empty tube conveyor belts in the region of its two longitudinal sides and is equipped with a tube storage device, preferably positioned at the end of the machine.
  • Tube supply devices for textile machines producing cross-wound bobbins have long been known in various designs and are partly described in detail in numerous patent applications.
  • a tube supply device for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins which has a bobbin tube magazine that is connected to the work stations of the textile machine via a bobbin tube loading device.
  • the bobbin tube magazine has several storage rows arranged next to one another, equipped with tube receiving mandrels for empty tubes, and a tube slider that is designed in such a way that it serves all transport chains simultaneously when activated.
  • a tube slider always transfers all empty tubes of the transport chains, which are positioned at a certain height, together to a downstream troughed belt.
  • an open-end rotor spinning machine which has a large number of work stations on both long sides of the machine between its end frames and has a central tube magazine arranged at the end of the machine.
  • the work stations of this textile machine are connected via an empty tube transport device to the central tube magazine which, as is known, has several storage rows arranged next to one another and equipped with receiving mandrels. Empty tubes are stored in a tip-oriented manner on the receiving mandrels of these storage rows, which are coupled via a shaft and can be driven by a common electric motor.
  • some of the receiving mandrels can be positioned at a certain height and the empty tubes stored on these receiving mandrels can be transferred by means of a tube slider to a downstream trough belt, which then transports the empty tubes successively either to a tube transfer position or to a tube turner.
  • the tube slider is designed in such a way that all transport chains of the tube magazine are always operated simultaneously, i.e. the tube slider always transfers all empty tubes of the transport chains positioned at a certain height simultaneously to the downstream trough belt, which, as indicated above, is connected to machine-length empty tube conveyor belts via the tube turner or the tube transfer position.
  • the empty tubes are then transported as needed via the empty tube conveyor belts to a service unit that is positioned in the area of the work station that has requested a fresh empty tube.
  • the service unit then exchanges the requested empty tube for the relevant work station.
  • an empty tube magazine in connection with textile machines that produce cross-wound bobbins, which also has several storage rows equipped with tube receiving mandrels that can be driven by several separate electric motors.
  • the tube magazine has, for example, twelve storage rows arranged next to one another, with storage rows 1 - 4, storage rows 5 - 7, storage rows 8 - 10 and storage rows 11 and 12 each being equipped with their own drive.
  • this known tube magazine has a so-called tube carriage that can be moved transversely along the storage rows and is equipped with a movable tube gripper.
  • the tube carriage positions itself at one of the storage rows, grasps the requested empty tube with its tube gripper and transfers the empty tube in a tip-oriented manner to a machine-length empty tube transport device, which conveys the empty tubes to the requested work station.
  • the EP 3 378 980 A1 discloses a spinning machine which has a plurality of cross-winding devices arranged next to one another and on two machine sides located in the longitudinal direction of the spinning machine, each of which is intended for winding yarn onto tubes.
  • Several tube magazines are used to store empty tubes.
  • a tube transport device arranged along the cross-winding devices is used to supply the cross-winding devices with empty tubes from the tube magazines.
  • Several tube magazines are arranged on each machine side, and each tube magazine is assigned its own stationary tube transport device. By connecting the tube magazines or by a corresponding device which moves tubes to the other side of the machine, the tube magazines can also enable a tube supply to both machine sides.
  • the spinning machine can have a transfer device. With the transfer device, tubes can be transported from one machine side to the other machine side.
  • the EP 3 382 072 A1 relates to a method for supplying cross-winding devices of a spinning machine with tubes, wherein a plurality of cross-winding devices are arranged next to one another and on two machine sides located in the longitudinal direction of the spinning machine and yarn is wound onto tubes on the cross-winding devices, empty tubes being stored in at least one tube magazine, and with a tube transport device arranged along the cross-winding devices with which the cross-winding devices are supplied with empty tubes from the tube magazine, wherein the tube transport device has an endless driving element, in particular a conveyor belt, which is moved along the plurality of cross-winding devices.
  • a plurality of transport carriages are provided for receiving one tube each. The transport carriages are transported with the aid of the endless driving element in order to bring the tubes to the cross-winding devices.
  • the conveyor belt of the tube transport device surrounds the machine and can thus reach all cross-winding devices and tube magazines.
  • the invention is based on the object of modifying the tube supply device of a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins, which has a plurality of work stations on the two longitudinal sides of the machine and is equipped with a tube storage device which has at least two tube magazines, in such a way that even in the event of malfunctions in one of the tube magazines, a proper supply to all work stations of the textile machine is always ensured.
  • a tube supply device for a textile machine that produces cross-wound bobbins, which has a large number of work stations arranged next to one another and empty tube conveyor belts in the area of its two longitudinal sides and is equipped with a tube storage device.
  • the tube storage device has at least two tube magazines, which are connected to the empty tube conveyor belts via a tube distribution device in such a way that the work stations of the textile machine can be properly supplied with empty tubes from each of the two tube magazines as required.
  • the tube distribution device has at least two tube carriages.
  • the tube carriages each have a movably mounted tube gripper and can be moved on a rail construction.
  • inventions of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
  • the inventive design of a tube supply device with a tube storage device that has two tube magazines that can be operated independently of one another and a tube distribution device via which the two tube magazines are functionally connected to the two empty tube conveyor belts of the textile machine has the particular advantage that such a design can ensure that the empty tube supply to the work stations of the textile machine is largely guaranteed even in the event of a malfunction at one of the two tube magazines. This means that if one of the tube magazines fails due to a malfunction, the remaining tube magazine immediately takes over the supply to all work stations of the textile machine, with the result that all work stations of the textile machine can continue to run properly.
  • a first tube carriage is assigned to the left tube magazine, while the second tube carriage is responsible for the right tube magazine during normal spinning operation.
  • the two tube carriages are designed in such a way that if necessary, for example in the event of a malfunction in one of the tube magazines, the first tube carriage can also take empty tubes from the right tube magazine. and accordingly the second tube carriage can also handle empty tubes from the left tube magazine and transfer them to an empty tube cross conveyor belt.
  • the rail construction is preferably either installed between the tube magazines and has two rail strands arranged at the same height, or the rail construction is arranged in an area between the end frame of the textile machine and the tube magazines. In such a case, the rail construction preferably has two rail strands running at different heights.
  • Both designs have the advantage that if one of the two tube carriages fails, the remaining tube carriage can easily handle the empty tubes from both tube magazines. This means that the tube carriage that is still in operation can transfer the empty tubes taken from one of the tube magazines as required to the empty tube conveyor belt at the work station that requested the empty tube.
  • FIGS. 1 - 4 show various embodiments of a tube supply device 23 for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins.
  • Such textile machines for example designed as open-end rotor spinning machines 1, have, as is known and in the Figures 1 - 3 shown schematically, have a plurality of work stations 5 between their end frames 4, which are arranged next to one another on both longitudinal sides of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and each have a spinning device and a downstream winding device.
  • Such open-end rotor spinning machines 1 are generally also equipped with a cross-wound bobbin transport device 8, i.e. such textile machines have two machine-length transport belts 9 arranged between their work stations 5 for transporting away finished cross-wound bobbins 6. Furthermore, such open-end rotor spinning machines 1 are often equipped with empty tube transport belts 21, preferably also machine-length, for supplying fresh empty tubes 7, which are arranged above or in front of the work stations 5.
  • the empty tubes 7 delivered on the empty tube conveyor belts 21 are transferred to the work stations 5 during spinning/winding operations by service units 10, which are movably mounted on rail structures 11, for example.
  • service units 10 usually so-called change and cleaning carriages, intervene when a service case is pending at one of the work stations 5.
  • Such a service case occurs, for example, when a cross-wound bobbin 6 has reached its specified diameter at one of the work stations 5 and must be replaced with a fresh empty tube 7.
  • the sleeve supply device 23 in a first embodiment has two sleeve magazines 3A arranged at the machine end, in the machine longitudinal direction, which are connected to the empty sleeve conveyor belts 21 via a sleeve distribution device 2A.
  • the tube magazines 3A in turn have, as is known per se, a plurality of empty tube transport rows 12, which in turn are each equipped with a plurality of tube receiving mandrels 15, on each of which an empty tube 7 is deposited, oriented towards the tip.
  • the empty tube transport rows 12 can either be driven separately by an individual electric motor drive 13 or are driven jointly by a common motor (not shown).
  • the electric motor drives are connected to the machine control 14 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 via control lines 22.
  • the sleeve distribution device 2A arranged in the area of the sleeve magazines 3A has, as in Figure 1 shown, for example, via a longitudinal sleeve conveyor belt 24 arranged between the sleeve magazines 3A and via a reversibly drivable transverse sleeve conveyor belt 17.
  • the empty tubes 7 arranged on the tube receiving mandrels 15 of the empty tube transport rows 12 of the tube magazines 3A are transferred as required, for example by tube slides (not shown), to the longitudinal tube conveyor belt 24 of the tube distribution device 2A, which then transfers the empty tubes 7 to the cross tube conveyor belt 17.
  • Such movable sleeve slides are, for example, in the DE 195 12 891 A1 described, can be positioned in a defined manner with respect to the empty tube transport rows 12 of a tube magazine 3A.
  • FIG. 2 illustrated embodiment differs from the embodiment according to Figure 1 essentially in that the sleeve distribution device 2A has at least two sleeve carriages 16 instead of a sleeve longitudinal conveyor belt 24 which is loaded by sleeve slides, each of which is assigned to one of the sleeve magazines 3A and is arranged on rail constructions 20 arranged between the sleeve magazines 3A.
  • the sleeve carriages 16 are, as in Figure 4 shown, each equipped with a movable sleeve gripper 18.
  • the sleeve cross conveyor belt 17 then transports the empty sleeve 7 as required to the empty sleeve conveyor belt 21, which leads to the work station 5 that requested the empty sleeve 7.
  • the device is, however, designed in such a way that if necessary, e.g.
  • the remaining sleeve carriage 16 can also handle the empty sleeves 7 of the sleeve magazine 3A, which is actually assigned to the defective sleeve carriage 16. This means that, if necessary, both case carriages 16 can handle the empty cases 7 from both case magazines 3A.
  • the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 is equipped with a tube supply device 23 which has two tube magazines 3B arranged at the machine end in the cross-machine direction, to which a tube distribution device 2B is connected.
  • the tube magazines 3B are connected to the two machine-length empty tube conveyor belts 21 arranged in the area of the machine's long sides via the tube distribution device 2B.
  • a rail construction 20 is installed on which at least two tube carriages 16 equipped with movable tube grippers 18 are mounted in a movable manner.
  • the rail construction 20 has two rails arranged at different heights, on each of which one of the tube carriages 16 can be moved.
  • the tube carriage 16 which runs on the upper rail, serves, for example, the Figure 3 upper tube magazine 3B and transfers its empty tubes 7 to the associated upper empty tube conveyor belt 21. Accordingly, the lower empty tube conveyor belt 21 is supplied by the tube carriage 16, which travels on the lower rail.
  • the rail construction 20 is designed in such a way and the tube carriages 16 are designed in such a way that, if necessary, for example, the tube carriage 16 mounted on the upper rail can also transfer an empty tube 7 from the tube magazine 3B assigned to the lower tube carriage 16 to the upper empty tube conveyor belt 21.
  • the tube carriage 16 installed on the lower rail which transfers its empty tubes 7 taken from the lower tube magazine 3B to the lower empty tube conveyor belt 21 during regular spinning operation.
  • This tube carriage 16 can also transfer empty tubes 7 from the tube magazine 3B assigned to the upper tube carriage 16 to the lower empty tube conveyor belt 21 if necessary.
  • the Figure 4 shows, partly in section, a tube supply device 23 arranged in the end region of a textile machine 1 producing cross-wound bobbins.
  • the tube supply device 23 designed as a tube feed device has two tube magazines 3B arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and an associated tube distribution device 2B.
  • the tube magazines 3B are arranged next to the end frame 4 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and each have empty tube transport rows 12 which, as usual, are each equipped with a large number of tube receiving mandrels 15 for storing empty tubes 7.
  • the numerous, for example twelve, empty tube transport rows 12 of each of the two tube magazines 3B are, according to the direction of view of the Figure 4 , arranged one behind the other.
  • the numerous empty tube transport rows 12 are driven either by individual drives 13, which are connected to the machine control 14 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 via control lines 22, or by a common drive.
  • the sleeve distribution device 2B installed in the area of the sleeve magazines 3B has at least two sleeve carriages 16 that can be moved on a rail construction 20, the rail construction 20 preferably having two rails arranged at different heights.
  • tube supply device 23 designed according to the invention which has at least two tube magazines 3 arranged at the end of the machine and an associated tube distribution device 2, all work stations 5 of an open-end rotor spinning machine 1 can always be properly supplied with fresh empty tubes 7 even in the event of a malfunction.
  • empty tubes 7 can be easily distributed from the still intact tube magazine 3 to the empty tube conveyor belt 21 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 whose associated tube magazine 3 is malfunctioning by means of the tube distribution device 2.
  • a tube supply device 23 designed according to the invention it is always ensured that all work stations 5 of the textile machine can be adequately supplied with empty tubes 7.
  • the tube magazines 3A on both sides of the machine are first "loaded". This means that the numerous empty tube transport rows 12 of the tube magazines 3 are each loaded with empty tubes 7 before spinning is started.
  • the control device of the work station 5 in question initiates a cross-wound bobbin/empty tube change.
  • a service unit 10 for example a change and cleaning carriage, is requested, which then travels to the work station 5 in question and locks in place there.
  • the service unit 10 then transfers the finished cross-wound bobbin 6 to a cross-wound bobbin transport device 8 arranged behind the work stations 5 and from there transports it to a bobbin transfer station arranged at the end of the machine.
  • the service unit 10 or the work station 5 in question requested a fresh empty tube 7 from the associated tube magazine 3A.
  • the corresponding tube magazine is the tube magazine 3A, which is located on the side of the machine on which the affected work station 5 is also arranged.
  • the left sleeve magazine 3A arranged on this side of the machine is also activated. This means that in the associated sleeve magazine 3A, at least one of the empty sleeve transport rows 12 is positioned such that the empty sleeve 7 can be handled by the sleeve distribution device 2A.
  • the sleeve distribution device 2A which consists of at least two sleeve carriages 16 mounted on a rail structure 20 so as to be movable along the empty sleeve transport rows 12 of the sleeve magazines 3A and each equipped with a movable sleeve gripper 18, positions the left sleeve carriage 16 in the area of the associated sleeve magazine 3A, which is the left one in the exemplary embodiment.
  • the left sleeve carriage 16 then uses its sleeve gripper 18 to grasp the empty sleeve 7 of the relevant empty sleeve transport row 12 of the left sleeve magazine 3A and transfers the picked up empty sleeve 7 to the sleeve cross conveyor belt 17, which then conveys the empty sleeve 7 as required to the left empty sleeve conveyor belt 21, which transports the empty sleeve 7 in a tip-oriented manner to the requested work station 5.
  • This means that the empty tube 7 is conveyed to the affected work station 5 by means of the left empty tube conveyor belt 21, where it is picked up by the service unit 10 and inserted into the spool frame of the work station 5.
  • the tube supply device 23 automatically takes over the task of receiving and transferring empty tubes from the remaining, intact devices.
  • the associated left tube carriage 16 simply takes the requested empty tube 7 from the right tube magazine 3A and places it on the tube cross conveyor belt 17, which then conveys the empty tube 7 to the left empty tube conveyor belt 21, on which the work station 5 requesting the empty tube 7 is located.
