Definitions
- the invention relates to an awning frame with a front profile that can be swiveled out on articulated arms, the articulated arms being held on an articulated arm carrier, in particular on a bracket tube or a housing, with an electrical consumer being arranged on an articulated arm, on the front profile or on parts connected to the articulated arm or front profile, which has an electrical connection.
- a swing-out awning for example on a building or vehicle, has an awning fabric, one end of which can be wound up on a fabric shaft.
- the end is preferably held with a welt in a longitudinal recess of the roller tube that acts as a welt rail.
- An opposite end of the awning fabric can be held in the same way with a welt in a welt rail of a drop profile.
- the roller tube can be driven in rotation, in particular manually or electrically.
- the drop profile is connected via articulated arms to a bracket tube, housing (e.g. for receiving the roller tube) or other articulated arm carrier, which can be attached to a wall or a roof overhang in particular.
- the articulated arms are loaded by spring tension in such a way that the drop profile is pressed away from the bracket tube or housing and the awning fabric is always tensioned.
- the articulated arms lie in one plane with the bracket tube or housing and the front profile and should be stable against bending in the vertical direction.
- the bracket tube preferably carries the roller tube or a housing for the roller tube. A version without a bracket tube is also possible if the roller tube can be held sufficiently stable in another way.
- Electrical loads such as lighting or other loads, can be provided on the drop profile or on components connected to it.
- the electrical consumers are fed from an isolating transformer with a protective voltage of 12 to 24 volts.
