Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a connection concept for platforms and handles in sports equipment, in particular vibration training devices.
  • Vibration training devices have become increasingly popular in recent years because they can be used for sporting exercises, such as push-ups, and the vibration that is transmitted from the vibration training device to the user via the handles further increases muscle stimulation, resulting in increased muscle stimulation Fat burning and improved muscle building can be achieved.
  • vibration training devices were only available in professional sports facilities such as fitness studios, but recently they have become more and more compact and can therefore also be used at home.
  • vibration training device in which a vibration training device is disclosed.
  • training handles are disclosed in particular, which can be attached to an upper plate or housing part of the vibration training device.
  • holding devices are provided in the surface of the vibration training device, which are designed as recesses, and the handles have complementary fastening devices which are designed in such a way that the handles can be inserted firmly but still releasably into the recess for safe use of the vibration training device.
  • a handle has two feet which can be inserted into a pair of corresponding recesses on the surface of the vibration training device. Furthermore, it is disclosed that various recesses are present on the surface of the vibration training device, and for different applications the handles can be inserted into two mutually assigned recesses.
  • connection device for medical instruments or lines, in particular for injection, transfusion or infusion.
  • This has an insertion part with radial holding projections and a receiving part with a guide section and a holding section arranged behind it for captively holding the holding projections behind locking projections in radial recesses.
  • Each holding projection has stop ends lying in the circumferential direction, and each recess has counter-stop ends lying in the circumferential direction, with which the holding projection is secured against rotation in the associated recess.
  • plug-in handles are also present here, which can be inserted into a combination of two holes with two feet.
  • plug-in handles can be inserted parallel to the short side, parallel to the long side or at an angle.
  • Various areas of application are disclosed on the surface of the vibration training device, which are transferred to the hole combinations using color codes - for example, suggested plug-in grip positions for training the shoulders, chest, triceps and back.
  • this solution is not necessarily safe, as one of the plug-in handles can easily fall out of the hole or be lifted out of it due to vibrations. This possibility involves a certain risk of injury, as the handle can easily slip out due to pulling forces during an exercise and the user could therefore injure himself.
  • a plug connection according to the invention comprises a socket and a plug.
  • the socket includes a recess in the bottom surface of which a positioning mandrel is provided. This serves to stabilize the plug when inserted and to make it easier to insert.
  • a plug-in handle is adapted to be inserted into at least one socket of a training platform by means of the plug.
  • the corresponding plug comprises a base plate to which a hollow body is connected.
  • the hollow body is intended to be inserted into the recess of the socket, the outer lateral surface of the hollow body resting against the inner lateral surface of the recess and the inner lateral surface of the hollow body engaging with the positioning mandrel.
  • At least one connecting element is provided on the hollow body, and the recess of the socket comprises one or more grooves. When mated, the connecting element of the plug is adapted to engage with a complementary groove of the socket, and the inner The lateral surface of the hollow body is adapted to engage with the positioning mandrel of the socket.
  • the connecting element is preferably designed like a keyway (but integrally with the hollow body and without compression) and more preferably has a rectangular cross section.
  • the groove is provided on the inner lateral surface of the recess, and the connecting element is provided on the outer lateral surface of the hollow body. This means the groove is most visible to the user and inserting the plug into the socket is easiest.
  • several grooves are provided on the recess. This makes it possible that only the grooves in the recess or the connecting elements on the plug are responsible for the positioning of the plug, and that a plug can be provided in different angular positions. For example, if four grooves are provided (and correspondingly four connecting elements), the user has the option of carrying out the exercise so that the plug-in handles are inserted in different angular positions (i.e. every 90°) - without having to do this as with a plug-in handle with 2 feet according to the State of the art several deepenings would be necessary. If even more grooves are provided, a corresponding even finer adjustment is possible, then more positions of a plug-in handle in a recess are also possible.
  • the presence of one or more grooves in the recess means that the user has several options for inserting the handle. It is therefore possible for the user to be able to specify several angular positions, which can be easily found by the user and used accordingly.
  • connection elements are provided on the hollow body. This increases the stability of the connection, and any shearing forces caused by attempting to turn the plug (or the connected plug-in handle) onto a connecting element are thus reduced. Increased shear forces could cause connector wear.
  • the hollow body and the positioning mandrel have a cone or truncated cone shape.
  • the depression preferably has a cylindrical, conical or truncated cone shape.
  • a further fixing device is preferably provided on the hollow body and recess - more preferably at the end of the hollow body facing away from the base plate and on or near the bottom surface of the recess.
  • connection is improved and therefore more stable and that the plug can only be pulled out of the socket by applying a certain amount of force - thereby improving the stability of the connection.
  • At least one projection is provided as a further fixing device on the hollow body, and at least one recess is provided in the recess.
  • the at least one projection is adapted to engage with the recess in the assembled state.
  • the at least one projection is adapted to protrude from the outer lateral surface of the recess in the assembled state through a recess. This guarantees an even safer and stronger connection.
  • a tab is attached to the outer lateral surface of the recess above the at least one recess, which rests against the recess when not assembled, and is correspondingly prestressed in the assembled state by the protrusion of the hollow body through the recess in the recess .
  • An even higher tensile force is required to pull the plug out of the socket again, since the respective tab is pre-tensioned against the projection and at least the pre-tension force and the frictional force must be overcome in order to pull the plug-in handle out of the recess.
  • a groove is provided in the tab which is adapted to engage, when mated, on the projection which protrudes from the recess.
  • the at least one projection presses the tab outwards. This creates an increased friction effect and the plug is secured even better in the socket.
  • a training platform with a plate on which several sockets according to the present invention and several plug-in handles with plugs according to the present invention are provided.
  • the plug-in handle with the plug is adapted to be inserted into at least one socket.
  • the plug-in handles connected to the plugs can be inserted at different angles - the user therefore has the option of inserting the plug-in handles parallel to each of the two edges of the platform.
  • several intermediate positions at an angle to the edges of the platform are possible between these positions.
  • the grooves do not have to be arranged symmetrically, i.e. at the same angular distance from one another - asymmetrical arrangements can also be present here.
  • the grooves can be colored with different colors.
  • a legend can then be attached to the surface of the platform - in which the individual colors indicate the exercises or the body areas to be trained and are explained accordingly.
  • the platform is a vibration training device.
  • Fig. 1 shows an isometric view of a connector 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Only the plug 10 is shown here; the plug-in handle S has been omitted here for reasons of simplicity.
  • the plug 10 has a base plate 11 on which a hollow body 12 is placed, in the present invention a truncated cone-shaped hollow body.
  • Two connecting elements 13 are placed on the edge of this hollow body 12 and are preferably formed integrally with it. These are attached to the outer surface of the hollow body 12.
  • projections 14 On the outer surface of the hollow body 12 there are also some projections 14 attached, which here have a knob shape and are provided on a side of the hollow body 12 facing away from the base plate 11.
  • Fig. 2 shows an isometric view of a socket 1, which is integrated into a surface O.
  • the socket 1 is basically circular and has a recess 2, which is circular in the present example.
  • a positioning mandrel 4 is provided, which has a truncated cone shape.
  • eight grooves 3 are provided on the inner surface of the recess 2, which, so to speak, expand the diameter of the recess.
  • Fig. 3 shows a corresponding top view of a socket 1 from below. This is integrated here in a surface O. The outer contours of the grooves 3 become clear here. Between the grooves 3 there are some tabs 6 which do not completely fill the space between the grooves.
  • Fig. 4 shows a sectional view along the line EE, and here a plug-in handle S is also disclosed, which in Fig. 3 was not visible (since a view from below of socket 1 is shown here).
  • the socket 1 is integrated into a surface O, for example of a training device.
  • An isometric view can be seen, in the right part there is a sectional view.
  • the grooves 3 (their external view, here as a protuberance) and the corresponding tabs 6 between the grooves 3 can again be seen on the socket.
  • a positioning mandrel 4 is provided in the socket 1 and delimits the recess 2 accordingly.
  • the hollow body 12 of the plug 10 is inserted into the recess 2 or is in engagement with it.
  • the connecting element 13 is provided on the outer lateral surface of the hollow body 12, which is inserted into a groove 3 (not shown here).
  • the plug 10 also has a base plate 11 at the top.
  • FIG. 5 Another sectional view is shown, in this case along line II in Fig. 3 .
  • an isometric view is provided in the left part and a sectional view in the right part.
  • a plug-in handle S is again shown, which is provided on a corresponding surface O.
  • recess 2 there is that again Hollow body 12 can be seen, which is inserted into this.
  • the positioning mandrel 4 which also rests on the hollow body 12 when plugged together.
  • Grooves 3 and tabs 6 can also be clearly seen again, especially in the isometric view. Due to the slightly tapered shape of the hollow body 2 due to the dimensions of the recess 2 and the positioning mandrel 6, the connection in the lower part becomes somewhat narrower. However, in the lower part of the hollow body 12 it lies closely in the recess 2, which is why a corresponding stability is created.
  • FIG. 6 Another sectional view can be seen, this time along the line KK in Fig. 3 .
  • the plug-in handle S is again arranged on a surface O.
  • the base plate 11 is in turn adjoined by the hollow body 12, which is inserted into the recess 2 and also rests on the positioning mandrel 4.
  • the inner lateral surface of the hollow body 12 is in engagement with the outer surface of the positioning mandrel 4, but the outer surface of the lateral surface of the hollow body 12 is in engagement with the inner surface of the recess 2.
  • Fig. 7 a corresponding detailed view is shown.
  • the tab 6 rests on the outside of the recess 2 and is provided with a certain preload force.
  • a projection 14 is provided on the hollow body 12, and a corresponding groove 6a is provided in the tab 6, which, when plugged together, engages exactly with the projection 14 of the hollow body 12. This, so to speak, fixes the hollow body 12 in the recess 2 and therefore greater force must be used to pull it out again.
  • Fig. 8 again shows an isometric view of a socket 1 from below, which is integrated into a surface O.
  • grooves 3 and tabs 6 are arranged alternately around the recess 2.
  • Fig. 9 shows a detailed view of the Fig. 8 , whereby the plug connection is shown here in the assembled state.
  • two grooves 3 can be seen, between which a tab 6 is arranged.
  • protrudes from the Recess 5 in a groove 3 shows part of the projection 14 of the inserted plug.
  • the tab 6 presses against this projection 14 and exerts a certain prestressing force, which is why it fixes it accordingly in the recess.
  • the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above.
  • other fixing mechanisms are also conceivable, for example a spring which presses against an inserted plug.
  • the connecting element 13 and the groove 3 can also have any cross-section, for example square, rectangular, semicircular, polygonal, semi-elliptical, etc.
