Definitions
- the present invention relates to a window regulator system and a motor vehicle door.
- Window lift systems for vehicles are used to move a window pane guided in a vehicle door.
- two parallel guide rails are usually provided, on each of which a driver that can be moved by means of a cable drive is guided, the window pane being coupled to the driver.
- a window opening in the door is usually limited by an inclined front strut located on the A-pillar and a rear strut located on the B-pillar.
- the window pane can be moved by means of a window lift system between a closed position, in which the pane covers the window opening, and an open position, in which the pane at least partially exposes the window opening.
- the window pane is guided along the rear strut between sealing lips or the like over the entire movement path between the open and closed positions, while the window pane on the front strut is only guided over a small part of the movement path due to its inclination. The friction forces acting on the window pane are therefore greater in the area of the rear strut.
- Window lift systems are therefore often constructed in such a way that a tensile force for moving the window pane into the closed position is applied to a rear slider via a cable driven directly by a cable drive, which is guided on a guide rail arranged in the area of the rear strut.
- a front slider which is guided on a guide rail arranged in the area of the front strut, is coupled to the rear slider by means of the rope to apply a tensile force.
- Such a system is, for example, in the German utility model DE 20 2008 016 221 U1 described.
- EP 1 778 942 B1 is described to apply the tensile force from the cable drive to the slider arranged on the front strut.
- stops can be provided on the guide rails.
- the German patent application DE 10 2009 033 466 A1 describes a window regulator system with a slider having an adjustable section to achieve parallel alignment of sliders along guide rails. To adjust the system, the sliders are brought into contact with the stops one after the other.
- the European patent application EP 2 050 909 A2 also describes a window regulator system with two parallel guide rails, on each of which a stop is provided in the upper end area.
- the window regulator system also includes drivers that are guided on the guide rails and hold a window pane. When the window pane is raised, both drivers move against the stops.
- the present invention is based on the object of providing an improved window regulator concept for a motor vehicle.
- a window regulator system for a motor vehicle.
- the window lift system comprises a first guide rail, which has a first stop in an upper end region, a second guide rail, which has a second stop in an upper end region, a first slider guided on the first guide rail, a second slider guided on the second guide rail, a Cable drum and a drive cable which can be driven by means of the cable drum and is coupled to the sliders and which is guided in a Bowden cable sheath between the upper end region of the second guide rail and a lower end region of the first guide rail.
- the sliders can be moved by the drive cable along the guide rails into a stop position in which the second slider is attached to the second stop and the first slider is positioned or arranged at a predetermined distance from the first stop, the predetermined distance being in a range between 0.4 percent and 1.2 percent of a length of the Bowden cable sheath.
- a motor vehicle door has a frame which defines a window opening, the window opening being delimited in relation to a door longitudinal direction by a first strut and a second strut arranged at a distance therefrom.
- the motor vehicle door comprises a window lift system according to the first aspect of the invention, wherein the first rail is arranged in the area of the first strut and the second guide rail is arranged in the area of the second strut with respect to the longitudinal direction of the door.
- the motor vehicle door also has a window pane coupled to the sliders of the window lift system, which has a rear edge guided along the second strut and a front edge running obliquely to the rear edge. The window pane can be moved by means of the sliders into a closed position in which the window pane covers the window opening, the sliders being arranged in the stop position in the closed position of the window pane.
- An idea underlying the present invention is to allow only one of two sliders of a window lift system, which are guided on preferably parallel guide rails, to move against a stop when a window pane that can be moved by means of the sliders is moved into a closed position.
- the cable length of a cable section of the drive cable on which the first slider, which is to be arranged at a distance from the respective stop in the stop position of the sliders can be designed accordingly.
- the predetermined distance at which the first slider is arranged from the first stop in the stop position should be in a range between 0.4 percent and 1.2 percent of a length of the Bowden cable casing in which the drive cable is guided between the guide rails.
- the window pane can be moved reliably into its closed position, regardless of the external conditions, such as temperature, moisture and the like.
- Another idea underlying the invention is to arrange the first rail with the first slider, which in the stop position, as described, is arranged at a distance from the first stop, in the area of a front, inclined strut of a door.
- a tensile force can be applied directly to the first slider via a first cable section, and by means of a second cable section, which is partially guided in the Bowden cable casing, the tensile force applied to the first slider is transmitted to the second slider in such a way, that both sliders are moved along the same direction. Since the window pane is guided on the rear edge in the area of the second strut, a greater force must be overcome by the second slider than by the first slider. It is therefore particularly advantageous to position the first slider in the stop position at the above-mentioned distance from the stop, since this ensures that even if the Bowden cable casing settles, force can still be transmitted to the second slider.
- the predetermined distance is greater than 3 mm and less than or equal to 8 mm.
- a safe reserve for settlements or changes in length of the Bowden cable casing is provided, particularly for Bowden cable casings with a length in the range of 700 mm to 800 mm.
- the predetermined distance is greater than 3 mm and less than or equal to 6 mm.
- a particular advantage of this distance range is that, despite a sufficiently large reserve for settlements or changes in length of the Bowden cable cover, tilting of the window pane as a result of the different position of the sliders with respect to the longitudinal extent of the guide rails is kept small.
- the first stop is formed in one piece with the first guide rail.
- the second stop is formed in one piece with the second guide rail.
- the one-piece design of the stop with the respective guide rail offers the advantage that the number of individual parts of the window regulator system is reduced. This makes it easier, for example, to install the system.
- a first cable section of the drive cable is coupled to the first slider via an upper one
- the upper first cable deflector arranged in the end region of the first guide rail is guided to the cable drum and from this via a lower second cable deflector arranged in a lower end region of the second guide rail to the second slider and is coupled to the second slider, with a second cable section of the drive cable being connected to the second Slider is coupled, is guided to the first slider via an upper second cable deflector arranged in the upper end region of the second guide rail and via a lower first cable deflector arranged in the lower end region of the first guide rail and is coupled to the first slider.
- an efficient transmission of the tensile force applied by the cable drum to the first cable section is achieved via the first slider to the second slider.
- One or more of the cable deflectors can in particular be designed as deflection rollers. This offers the advantage that the rope friction at the deflection points is reduced.
- the window pane is guided at the rear edge by a guide structure along the second strut.
- the guide structure can be formed, for example, by opposing lips which define a guide slot into which the rear edge of the disk is inserted.
- the disc preferably rests on both lips.
- the guide structure extends parallel to the second guide rail.

- the window pane 120 is also in an open position.
- the first slider 4 is arranged in the stop position A at a predetermined distance d4 from the first stop 20, as shown in FIGS Figs. 1 and 3 is shown.
- This spacing ensures that the tensile force exerted on the first slider 4 is reliably transmitted to the second slider 5 by the second cable section 72 when the window pane 120 is moved into the closed position, as explained above.
- the distance d4 is preferably chosen so that it is in one The range is between 0.4 percent and 1.2 percent of the length of the Bowden cable casing 8. This ratio has proven to be particularly advantageous, since in this area it is ensured that even when long Bowden cable casings 8 are set, the first slider 4 hitting the first stop is reliably avoided.
- the predetermined distance d4 can be greater than 3 mm and less than or equal to 8 mm and preferably less than or equal to 6 mm.
- the first slider 4 is located closer to the first stop 4 in the stop position A than was intended in the original design state. This leads to a tilting of the window pane 120, since the sliders 4, 5 are no longer arranged at the level intended according to the design with respect to the door vertical direction H100.
- a large range of changes in length of the Bowden cable casing 8 can be compensated for for long Bowden cable casings 8, with the resulting pane tilting being limited to a tolerable level.
- a course of an axis, a direction or a structure "along" another axis, direction or structure is understood herein to mean that this, in particular the tangents resulting in a respective point of the structures are each at an angle of less than 45 degrees, preferably less than 30 degrees and particularly preferably parallel to one another.
- the term "transverse" to another axis, direction or structure is understood to mean that this, in particular, the tangents resulting in a respective point of the structures each run at an angle of greater than or equal to 45 degrees, preferably greater than or equal to 60 degrees and particularly preferably perpendicular to one another.
