Definitions

  • the invention relates to a packaging part for securing an object to be packaged in an outer packaging or an inner packaging part.
  • Such inner packaging parts are largely manufactured as molded parts from so-called fiber casting and are usually individually adapted to the contour of the object to be secured in the outer packaging.
  • Fiber-cast molded parts are molded parts that are at least predominantly formed from paper fibers, in particular from waste paper fibers. They serve to secure the item to be packed in the outer packaging and to protect it against impact.
  • Such molded parts can be designed to meet the requirements of the object to be secured, both in terms of geometry and in terms of fiber properties, and are therefore particularly suitable as technical packaging.
  • An inner packaging part designed as edge protection for a plate-shaped or frame-shaped object is, for example, made from US D 793,862 p known.
  • a two-part packaging body made of foamed plastic is known, which is divided lengthwise and/or crosswise and is provided with at least one cavity which is essentially adapted to the contour of the goods to be packaged.
  • the packaging body known from this publication is characterized in particular by the fact that rib-shaped supports formed by recesses and/or openings are provided on the packaging body in order to increase the spring properties and flexibility of the packaging body.
  • the packaging device includes a shaped body with a first elasticity.
  • the molded body has a number of depressions disposed on a first side of the molded body.
  • An insert with an elasticity that is greater than the elasticity of the shaped body is inserted into at least one of the recesses.
  • the insert preferably consists of a foam polymer.
  • the invention is based on the object of providing a packaging part or an inner packaging for securing and protecting something to be transported To provide an item that can be used as universally applicable protective packaging.
  • the packaging part is intended in particular to cushion the shock loads that may possibly act on the object to be transported.
  • a packaging part for securing an object to be packaged in an outer packaging, which has at least one support body acting as a decoupling element, which is designed as a hollow body and which protrudes from a bearing sole or flat bearing surface.
  • the support body has a base with a relatively large base cross-section in the area of the bearing sole and tapers in the direction away from the bearing sole, i.e. in a distal direction.
  • the support body also has in its lateral surface at least one weakening line or predetermined breaking line or folding edge, which divides the support body into an upper part and a lower part, the upper part of the support body preferably being able to be completely pressed into the lower part along the weakening line under load.
  • the weakening line can be at least partially circumferential in the lateral surface of the support body. Alternatively, several weakening lines or folding edges can be formed in the lateral surface of the support body, which enable the support body to be pressed in in a targeted manner under load.
  • line of weakness is predominantly used in the context of this description, in the sense of the invention this also means a predetermined breaking line, a bend line or a bend edge.
  • the packaging part is preferably designed so that it deforms essentially irreversibly under load, in such a way that the Correspondingly compressed support bodies under load also stabilize the object to be transported transversely to the direction of loading.
  • the part of the support body that forms the base is referred to below as the lower part of the support body.
  • the part of the support body which forms the tapered tip is referred to below as the upper part of the support body.
  • inclined surface is a synonym for "inclined lateral surface", especially in the case of a polyhedron.
  • polyhedron is a synonym for “polyhedral support body”.
  • the tapered tip of the support body can basically be flattened. Alternatively, the tapered tip of the support body can be designed like a roof or ridge.
  • the weakening line in the lateral surface of the support body can extend approximately parallel to the bearing sole. Within the scope of the invention, however, it can also be provided that at least one weakening line extends at an angle or in an arc shape to the bearing sole.
  • the hollow body volume of the lower part of the support body is preferably dimensioned such that the lower part of the support body can at least partially, preferably completely, accommodate the volume of the upper part of the support body. If the lower part of the support body at least partially absorbs the material of the upper part of the support body under load, this results in a stabilization of the lower, non-compressed part of the support body.
  • the packaging part according to the invention can essentially comprise a single support body and a bearing sole, which can be designed either over the entire surface or as a circumferential, flange-like collar of the support body.
  • One A large number of packaging parts designed in this way can, for example, be placed in an outer packaging at certain designated locations, for example in the corners of a box. A larger item can then be stored specifically with several individual packaging parts, for example.
  • the packaging part according to the invention is designed as a mat-shaped insert for an outer packaging or as a cushioning mat or cushioning sheet with which the object to be stored can be wrapped.
  • a cushioning mat or cushioning sheet can, for example, be provided in pre-assembled sizes. This is ideally designed to be stackable.
  • the support bodies are expediently formed from the bearing surface or bearing sole of the insert in such a way that the support bodies are each in the area of their base, i.e. H. on the bearing sole are opened downwards or opposite to the formed direction.
  • the at least one support body can have a geometry that is selected from a group of geometries including dome-shaped, hump-shaped, dome-shaped, spherical, truncated cone-shaped, pyramid-shaped, truncated pyramid-shaped, prism-shaped or other polyhedral geometries. Other round or oval geometries make sense within the scope of the invention.
  • the at least one support body has a polyhedral geometry with surfaces that run obliquely with respect to the bearing sole.
  • the line of weakness of the at least one support body can be formed, for example, in a shoulder of the lateral surface of the at least one support body or by a shoulder in the lateral surface of the at least one support body.
  • the weakening line can be designed in the form of a predetermined breaking line or a predetermined folding line.
  • At least one lateral surface of the at least one support body is at least partially perforated.
  • the support body has a polyhedral geometry
  • an inclined surface of the support body can, for example, be perforated like a window.
  • the support body is dome-shaped or dome-shaped, i.e. H. has a substantially round, rotationally symmetrical geometry, at least one opening can be formed in an oblique section of the lateral surface of the support body.
  • the opening extends in a plane that runs obliquely with respect to the bearing sole.
  • the at least one support body is polyhedron-shaped, it is advantageous if the perforated inclined surface of the at least one support body is steeper in relation to the bearing sole or has a larger angle than the other support surfaces. This makes it easier to press in a closed inclined surface opposite the perforated inclined surface.
  • the at least one support body has a polyhedral geometry, it is advantageous if one of the inclined surfaces of the polyhedron is in one Angle range between 40° and 80° is inclined relative to the plane of the bearing sole.
  • the molded part is preferably made of papier-mâché, cardboard, cast fiber, sheet metal, plastic, e.g. B. polymer foam, or combinations of these materials.
  • the inclined surfaces of the at least one support body can each have a different inclination with respect to the plane of the bearing sole.
  • a plurality of support bodies arranged to form a mat-shaped insert, each with at least one perforated inclined surface and / or with inclined surfaces of different inclinations, are arranged alternately rotated relative to one another by, for example, 180 ° about an axis perpendicular to the bearing sole.
  • the support bodies could in particular also be aligned in the same direction or rotationally, i.e. rotated relative to one another in any angular position on the bearing sole.
  • the support bodies are expediently arranged relative to one another in such a way that the perforated inclined surfaces of adjacent support bodies are aligned in rows or columns in opposite directions.
  • the mat-shaped insert has a circumferential edge which is formed by support bodies whose flexibility under load is less than the flexibility of the other support bodies. This can ensure that an object to be stored on the insert settles under load in such a way that it is secured by the circumferential edge of the insert against lateral forces and against slipping.
  • the supporting bodies can, for example, be arranged in diagonally extending rows.
  • FIG. 1 shows a first variant of a packaging part according to the invention.
