Definitions
- the invention relates to a rail vehicle with a roof.
- Roofs of rail vehicles especially in local passenger transport, e.g. trams, underground trains, etc., are made from sheet metal, among other things.
- profile sheets are usually used for the construction of such roofs.
- Profile sheets are canted sheets and consist of several alternating profile valleys and profile mountains, which are connected to one another with bevels.
- the profile mountains are also referred to as webs or raised beads, the profile valleys as depressions, deep beads or beads, which is why these profiled sheets are also referred to as beaded sheets.
- the profile or corrugated sheets currently commonly used as roof structures have a constant wall and thus material thickness, also due to production.
- the weight of a rail vehicle especially in local passenger transport, e.g. for trams, etc., is a decisive operating factor, e.g. for compliance with specified wheel loads, the weight saving is an important factor in the development of rail vehicles or parts thereof.
- the area moment of inertia that determines the bending, buckling and compressive rigidity of profiled sheets is essentially influenced by an accumulation of material on the profile peaks and valleys, which are dimensioning for and thus decisive Has an influence on the material thickness of the corrugated sheet metal. Therefore, the material thickness provided for the profile peaks and valleys in the area of the slopes is not necessary to the same extent, so that the material thickness in the area of the slopes can be correspondingly lower compared to the material thickness in the area of the profile peaks and valleys.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying a rail vehicle with a roof which is lighter and less expensive.
- the roof of a rail vehicle wherein the roof is a profiled sheet with several, alternately successive profile valleys and profile peaks, and wherein the alternately successive profile valleys and profile peaks are each connected with at least one slope, according to the invention designed such that at least one part at least of a slope between a first and a second profile valley or a first and a second profile mountain has a smaller material thickness d than the material thickness D of the profile valleys or profile mountains connected to the slope.
- the solution according to the invention has the advantage that, by reducing the material thickness in the area of the slopes, correspondingly less material is required for the production of the profiled sheet and the roof of the rail vehicle is therefore significantly lighter and can therefore also be produced more cost-effectively, with the bending, dent - and compressive rigidity of the profiled sheet and thus of the roof is not or only insignificantly influenced.
- all of the slopes of the profiled sheet metal have a smaller material thickness d than the material thickness D of the profile valleys or profile peaks connected to the slopes.
- the material thickness in the transition areas between the slope and the connected profile valley increases continuously from the material thickness d of the slope to the material thickness D of the profile valley. This avoids hard transitions, i.e. jumps in the material thickness between the incline and the connected profile valley, which minimizes the risk of possible break points under load at these points and thus does not have a negative effect on maintenance intensity.
- the material thickness in the transition areas between the slope and the connected profile mountain increases continuously from the material thickness d of the slope to the material thickness D of the profile mountain. In this way, hard transitions, i.e. jumps in the material thickness, even between the incline and the connected profile mountain, are avoided, which minimizes the risk of possible break points under load at these points as well.
- the maintenance activities are also not negatively affected.
- the profile sheet is particularly preferably designed as a trapezoidal sheet.
- a trapezoidal sheet has a trapezoidal cross-section and is very variable with regard to the corresponding dimensions, e.g. lengths of the raised and lowered beads, bevels, angles between deep beads and bevels, material thickness, etc., and is also easy and inexpensive to produce and is therefore particularly good for construction or production of a roof for a rail vehicle, especially in local passenger transport, for example for trams, subways, etc., suitable.
- a roof of a rail vehicle is designed as a profile sheet with alternating profile peaks and profile valleys, which are each connected to one another with slopes, wherein the slopes, or at least some of the slopes, according to the invention have a lower material thickness than the profile mountains and / or profile valleys.
- the material thickness increases continuously from the material thickness of the slope to the material thickness of the corresponding profile mountain and / or profile valley.
- Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a profile sheet according to the invention (1).
- the profiled sheet (1) designed here as a trapezoidal sheet, consists of several alternating profile valleys (2) and profile peaks (3), the alternating profile valleys (2) and profile peaks (3) each with bevels (4) with one another are connected.
- the profile valleys (2) and profile peaks (3) have a material thickness of thickness D and the bevels (4) have a lower material thickness of thickness d in comparison.
- the material thickness d is in the area of the slopes (4 ) compared to the material thickness D in the area of the profile valleys (2) and profile mountains (3), significantly reduced, which reduces both the total weight and the production costs of the roof.
- the reduction to the material thickness d in the area of the slopes (4) compared to the material thickness D in the area of the profile valleys (2) and profile peaks (3) is variable and adjustable and can be adjusted accordingly as required. A weight saving of up to 20% on the total weight of the roof is possible.
- Fig. 2 shows an enlarged detail of the cross section of a profiled sheet metal (1) according to the invention.
- Fig. 2 is based on a profile valley (2) with the material thickness D the course of a cross-section of a profile sheet according to the invention (1) over a slope (4) with material thickness d, a profile mountain (3) with material thickness D, slope (4) with material thickness d, profile valley (2) with material thickness D and again via a slope (4) with material thickness d to a profile mountain (3) with material thickness D, etc., shown by way of example.
- transition areas (5) between profile mountain (3) and slope (4), slope (4) and profile valley (2), profile valley (2) and slope (4) as well as slope (4) and profile mountain (3) are shown, in which the material thickness changes continuously.
- this changes based on the material thickness D of the profile mountain (3) to the material thickness d of the slope (4) to the material thickness D of the profile valley (2) to the material thickness d of the slope (4) to the material thickness D of the profile mountain (3), etc.
- hard transitions that is, jumps in the material thickness between the slopes (4) and the respectively connected profile peaks (3) or profile valleys (2) are avoided, which minimizes the risk of possible breakages when stressed at these points.
- the length of the transition areas (5) is not fixed to a specific length, but can be set / adapted to the desired length as required.
- the transition areas (5) are preferably selected as small as possible, so that, conversely, the largest possible part of the respective bevel (4), ideally the entire length of the bevel (4), the material thickness d.
- the transition areas (5) can also extend to a certain extent into the actual area of the profile valleys (2) or profile peaks (3), so that the profile peaks (3) and troughs (2) also contribute a certain proportion to the weight reduction . This is partly due to manufacturing technology, but can also be deliberately expanded within certain limits in order to reduce the weight even further. The vast majority of the weight reduction comes from reducing the material in the area of the slopes (4).
- Fig. 3 shows a rail vehicle (10) with a roof (15) according to the invention.
- the roof (15) which is made from the sheet metal profile according to the invention, can also be adapted accordingly at any time without any problems to existing, necessary superstructures of a rail vehicle (10), shown here as an example by a pantograph (20).

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- einen Querschnitt eines erfindungsgemäßen Profilblechs (1),
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3
- ein Schienenfahrzeug (10) mit erfindungsgemäßem Dach (15).
-
Fig. 1 zeigt einen Querschnitt eines erfindungsgemäßen Profilblechs (1).
- In
-
Fig. 3 zeigt ein Schienenfahrzeug (10) mit erfindungsgemäßem Dach (15).
