Definitions

  • the invention relates to an irritation body, in particular to the possibility of individual adjustment and situation-dependent or situation-related adaptation of the number of active masses on site.
  • Effective masses are understood to mean bangs, flashes, noises (e.g. whistle signal), etc., i.e. so-called shock effects.
  • the invention deals with a safeguard against unintentional triggering of the irritation body.
  • Irritation bodies of this type are used for non-lethal defense against people and are also used to support police operations. They are similar to hand grenades, which are usually manually detonated and then discarded, but should not fragment.
  • the DE 199 44 486 C2 discloses an irritation body for manual ignition and ejection with a cylindrical container, which has a plurality of compartments running parallel to the central axis of the container, which can accommodate effect charges.
  • the effect charges are ignited with a manually operated ignition device on one side of the cylindrical container. After ignition, all the effect charges in the container are successively ignited in chronological order, ie with a time delay, and fired radially outwards.
  • the one cited in this document DE 92 13 375 U1 describes an irritation body that provides charge containers for delay times in the compartments to accommodate the respective delay and effect charge. The effect charges are then sequentially ignited by these delay charges with different delay times.
  • an irritation body also known as a shock weapon
  • an additional effect By adding an additional body to an existing free one Installation space in the irritation body can be integrated individually and thus optionally directly before use, thus increasing the effectiveness.
  • the DE 10 2010 052 209 A1 denotes an irritation body that has a modular structure. By choosing the appropriate module with a predetermined chamber size, the performance characteristics of the irritation body can be varied and also increased in a simple manner.
  • a fuse as a fuse for a toggle lever igniter for a hand grenade can be used DE 10 2010 021 685 B4 be removed. This enables re-securing after arming the irritation body.
  • a profile part with a means is used for this purpose, the means forming a pin as a safety pin, which is pushed into a safety slot of the rocker arm igniter or igniter head by turning the profile part.
  • a toggle igniter with an igniter head which comprises a pivotally arranged firing pin acted upon by a firing pin spring, and with a safety bracket, which rotates in the same direction as the firing pin from an initial position in which it is pressed in the direction of the igniter head, into a firing pin -Release position is pivotally arranged.
  • the firing pin spring is in its unstressed state and is stressed by a separate cocking lever (unstored energy fuze head).
  • a cocking lever that can be actuated from a rest position to an armed position is connected to the firing pin spring via a cocking lever shaft in such a way that the firing pin spring can only be actuated from its uncocked state to its cocked state when the safety clip is in its initial position.
  • the firing pin spring can be locked in its cocked state by means of a safety device.
  • a safety pin for an irritation body shows the DE 20 2013 003 957 U1 on. This locking pin is located in a direction substantially perpendicular to the pivot axis of a rocker arm.
  • the WO 95/08200 A1 deals with a shock ammunition with a container that has several compartments that are closed off by covered windows in the container wall. Effect charges that are integrated in the compartments are ignited in a specific time sequence. Several effect charges are introduced without increasing the size. Ignition takes place with an ignition device which has an ignition channel which is common to all effect charges and in which a delay charge is accommodated. In order to The aim is to ignite several active charges in a sequence of several seconds in succession, ie one after the other, in order to increase the shock effect.
  • the WO 2010/044716 A1 discloses an action device for various action effects and an action method.
  • the action device comprises at least two action charges for two different action effects, which are integrated in a shell.
  • the action effects are arranged in a row along a longitudinal axis in the sleeve.
  • the action charges are in turn placed in a container.
  • the action charges are separated from each other.
  • the action device also includes another container arranged axially around the tubular container.
  • a triggering device is arranged in this container.
  • the container can be rotated about its central axis by means of a rotary element mounted on the container.
  • the two containers have gas outlet and gas inlet holes, which are arranged according to a defined pattern.
  • the gas outlet holes and the gas inlet holes are arranged in such a way that when the container is rotated, only the gas inlet holes of one action charge overlap with the opposite gas outlet holes.
  • the other action charges are blocked.
  • the object of the invention is to show a possibility with which the irritation body can be adapted, in particular on site, and specifically the effect or active power can be individually adjusted.
  • the invention is based on the idea of realizing the adaptation of the active power of the irritation body by means of a switching mechanism via an ignition head of the irritation body, with which the number of effects can be switched on by igniting the effect charge.
  • the irritation body has several chambers with ignition holes, usually two, in each of which an effect charge is integrated.
  • the irritation body also includes a delay charge.
  • the delay charge in turn acts on the effect charge in the chambers via so-called overflow bores and the ignition bores in the chamber.
  • the switching mechanism according to the invention contains the delay charge. This measure ensures that the delay charge does not have any contact with the chambers in a secured position. This design offers the advantage, among other things, that the storage of such irritation bodies becomes more reliable, since the connection between the delay charge and the effect charge is interrupted during storage.
  • the delay charge and effect charge must be aligned with each other through the overflow holes / ignition hole.
  • the switching mechanism containing the delay set is adjusted.
  • the rear derailleur can be adjusted, for example, by turning the fuse head.
  • the rear derailleur has several switching positions, with possible intermediate positions ensuring that no connection is made between the delay charge and the chambers.
  • the number of switching positions depends on the number of effects to be set. With a number of four adjustable effects, e.g. 2, 4, 6 and 12, the rear derailleur should have four switching positions. With six different, freely selectable effect variants, such as 1, 2, 4, 10, 12 or 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, six switching positions would then have to be provided.
  • the twisting or shifting of the rear derailleur is preferably realized while the igniter head is pressed down at the same time.
  • This measure has the advantage that the adjustment only takes place under pressure, ie consciously. Releasing the fuse head in one of the switching positions returns it to its original position.
  • means can be included which prevent the fuse head from sliding back into its original position in its intermediate positions. This measure is intended to prevent the irritation body from becoming inoperable, since there is no functional connection between the delay charge and the effect charge in the intermediate position.
  • the irritation body is further equipped with a built-in safety which prevents the irritation body from being triggered in an inoperative intermediate position of the rear derailleur. If the rear derailleur is twisted at the same time as the igniter head is pressed down, a first safety device is provided in such a way that a twist-pull pin is only released when the igniter head has latched back into its original, upper and thus correct position. This securing can be done, for example, by a spring-loaded pressure piece that bridges an air gap between the detonator head and the housing of the irritation body. When changing the active power, e.g. changing the number of bangs, the pressure piece is pressed into the igniter head.
  • This construction allows the use of an additional fuse, which is pressed into this gap during assembly and keeps the first fuse permanently actuated.
  • This second backup can consist of a plastic clip.
  • this second safety prevents the hammer from accidentally hitting the primer by means of a tab protruding laterally into the fuse head.
  • This second fuse is only removed directly before use. It prevents any manipulation of the switching unit and rotary cotter pin.
  • the rear derailleur has several overflow bores on the circumference.
  • the overflow bores are partially connected to one another via one or more grooves that are also introduced on the peripheral side.
  • the groove or grooves can be integrated in a spiral or cascade fashion, for example.
  • the expert knows alternatives.
  • the gradient of the spiral or the distances within the cascade (stages) are dependent on the position of the ignition holes in the chambers, with which the corresponding overflow holes are to be brought into functional contact.
  • the present irritation body here a so-called multi-bang, allows the individual setting of the active power by setting the number of bang, bang-flash and / or flash effects in particular, whereby several, freely selectable bang variants are created.
  • the present invention proposes integrating a switching mechanism into the irritation body, which enables the simultaneous switching on of different chambers within the irritation body for setting the effect by switching on the individual active masses to form a total active mass.
  • the rear derailleur is formed by a tube and peripherally integrated bores and grooves, some of which form a functional unit with the bores.
  • the switching mechanism activates a different number of chambers in the irritation body, which means that the active power can be increased or reduced again.
  • An irritation body 10 is shown with an igniter head 1, a housing 2 accommodating the igniter head 1, a rocker arm 3 on the igniter head 1 and a safety pin 4 securing the rocker arm 3.
  • the irritation body 2 has twelve exhaust openings 5 on the circumference, the perspective Representation only six exhaust ports 5 reflects. Such irritation bodies are also called side blowers.
  • the exhaust openings 5 are each assigned a chamber 6 in which an effect charge 7 is contained ( 2 ).
  • the effect charges 7 are lightning or in this embodiment. bang charges.
  • the chambers 6 are integrated into two levels 8 , 9 within the irritation body 10 .
  • the division is preferably such that six chambers 6 are integrated in the upper level 8 and six chambers 6 in the lower level 9 .
  • the chambers 6 of the upper level 8 are preferably offset from those of the lower level 9 in the housing 2 .
  • blow-out openings can be provided in the base and cover of the housing 2, which are connected to the chambers via bores (not shown in detail) guided through the body of the irritation body 10. are connected to the exhaust openings in the lid and in the base.
  • the lateral blow-out openings 5 would have to be covered by an additional body or an additional housing (eg pipe). But there is also the possibility of an irritation body with chambers similar to that DE 10 2004 059 991 B4 without using lateral exhaust openings. There are no restrictions here.
  • a (middle) tube 11 is integrated in the center of the housing 2 between the chambers 6 ( 3 ).
  • This central tube 11 forms a switching mechanism of the irritation body 10.
  • a delay set 12 is pressed into the switching mechanism 11, for example.
  • the rear derailleur 11 or the central tube has one or more bores 13 or one or more grooves or indentations 14 on the circumference.
  • the grooves 14 have groove beginnings in which Usually bores 13, as well as groove ends 15. These interact with the respective ignition bore 16 of the chambers 6, which are switched on to the irritation body 1 and dimension this individually in its effect.
  • the grooves 13 are spiral or cascade-shaped.
  • FIG. 4 shows the fuze head 1 in a representation in which the rocker arm 3 is on the left of the fuze head 1 and in a sectional view in which the rocker arm 3 is on the right of this.
  • the rocker arm 3 is secured by the cotter pin 4 in a known manner and holds a spring-loaded igniter 17 .
  • a fuse is marked, which is integrated between the rear derailleur 11 and the body, in particular the fuse head 1.
  • This fuse 20 can also cover the primer 18.
  • the fuse 20, for example a plastic clip is integrated in an air gap 22 (approx. 2 mm) between the fuse head 1 and the housing 2 of the irritation body 10 and bridges this.
  • This fuse 20 can consist of a plastic clip.
  • this fuse 20 has a tab 23 that projects laterally into the fuse head 1 and thus covers the primer cap 18 . This also prevents the igniter (hammer) 17 from hitting the primer unintentionally.
  • the igniter 17 firing pin or striker/igniter is actually a detonator, ie an object with explosives would be able to hit the lug 23 at most if the fuse 20 was present.
  • Another fuse serves to ensure that the cotter pin 4 can only be pulled and the rocker arm 3 released in the position in which the fuse head 1 has assumed its starting position. In other states of the fuse head 1, it is impossible to pull the cotter pin 4.
  • This security also known as a cotter pin, can be implemented, for example, by a spring-loaded pressure piece. This ensures that the cotter pin 4 can only be pulled in the original or starting position of the igniter head 1 and the rocker arm 3 can be released.
  • the function of the irritation body 10 is as follows: To set the individual active power of the irritation body 10, the switching mechanism 11 containing the delay set 12 is adjusted.
  • the rear derailleur 11 is preferably adjusted by turning the fuse head 1 , which is mechanically connected to the rear derailleur 11 .
  • the number of chambers 6 are functionally connected to the delay set 12 by twisting.
  • the functional connection of the delay set 12 to the chambers 6 takes place via the corresponding bores 13 and the grooves 14 of the switching mechanism 11, which are aligned with the flow openings 16 of the chambers 6 by turning the switching mechanism 11 (the igniter head 1).
  • the delay set 12 is fired.
  • a thereby forming slag comes out of the holes 13, which is guided either directly or via the groove 14 to the ignition hole 16 of the chambers 6 switched on.
  • the metals in the slag reach the chambers 6 via the ignition hole 16 and thus come into contact with the effects 7 and ignite them (e.g. flash charge).
  • the implemented effect is then released from the exhaust openings 5 to the environment.
  • the twisting or shifting of the switching mechanism 11 is preferably realized while the igniter head 1 is pressed down at the same time. By releasing the igniter head 1 in one of the predetermined and therefore permissible switching positions, it is returned to its original position.
  • a spring etc. can be provided for this purpose, which is integrated, for example, below the switching mechanism 11 in the housing 2 . An integration of a spring below the fuse head 1 is also conceivable.
  • the irritation body 10 is secured by the two fuses 20 and the cotter pin.
  • the fuse 20 is pressed into the gap 22, for example during assembly.
  • This fuse 20 holds the second fuse for the cotter pin 4 permanently actuated.
  • this safety device 20 prevents the detonator 17 from accidentally hitting the primer cap 18 through the tab 23 protruding laterally into the detonator head 1.
  • This additional safety device 20 is only removed directly before use. She prevents anything Manipulation of the switching unit (rear derailleur) and the cotter pin 4 (e.g. rotary cotter pin). Only after removing the fuse 20 does the cotter pin release (pressure fuse) and release the cotter pin 4.
