Definitions

  • the invention relates to a busbar system according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • busbar systems are well known and are used in particular to operate lights of various designs at selectable positions. Both in terms of their configuration and in terms of their installation location, the busbars are variable and dependent on manufacturing conditions, design requirements and, if the busbars are used as a design element in living spaces, the mechanical strength or the like.
  • the busbar should be integrated into the corresponding furniture part at the factory with only little effort. On the other hand, there is a requirement to assemble different lights or loads with little effort and to connect them electrically to the power rail.
  • busbars do not meet the aforementioned requirements to the desired extent, primarily because the busbars are relatively large in cross-section and are therefore often perceived as annoying, especially from a design point of view.
  • the at least one contact element for example in the form of a current feeder.
  • the cross-sectional dimensioning is relatively large, so that the busbar system as a whole no longer meets today's design requirements.
  • this contact tape has proven itself. However, it rests on the surface of the corresponding furniture part and is therefore fully visible. In this respect, it is not suitable to the required extent for a specific purpose, namely as an integrated, i.e. largely invisible, functional part in a piece of furniture.
  • a comparable, also 1-phase power rail is in the DE 298 02 645 thematized.
  • the two conductors of which have a circular cross-section.
  • a busbar system is known, with a plurality of profile rails arranged in a housing, into each of which 1-phase contacts of a contact element are inserted. Both the profile rail and the contact strips which are held in it and arranged at a distance from one another are made of an electrically conductive material.
  • the invention is based on the object of further developing a busbar system of the generic type in such a way that it can be manufactured and assembled with little constructive and manufacturing effort and meets the design requirements after assembly.
  • busbar Due to the structural design of the busbar, especially the spaced opposing contact strips, which are now convex in cross-section in the direction facing each other, a very small cross-sectional dimensioning of the busbar is possible, with the open
  • the longitudinal slot of the profile rail, into which the contacts of the consumer are inserted, can be kept very narrow, so that the busbar as a whole can be integrated inconspicuously into a furniture part, preferably a furniture panel.
  • the busbar system in addition to the busbar, also comprises a contact element, e.g. a feeder, in particular a power feeder, which can be connected to an on-site power grid or to a transformer that can be connected to the power grid, the latter when, as is preferred, the busbar system is operated with low voltage will.
  • a contact element e.g. a feeder, in particular a power feeder, which can be connected to an on-site power grid or to a transformer that can be connected to the power grid, the latter when, as is preferred, the busbar system is operated with low voltage will.
  • the contact element can also be designed as an adapter, for example as a current collector that is connected to a consumer such as a lamp or the like, or as a current transformer in the form of a linear, corner, T or cross connector with several, each resilient contacts in the sense of Invention having connecting parts which are inserted into the busbar at the front or along the length. This creates a wide range of design options by assembling several busbars.
  • the spherical design of the contacts is to be understood in the broadest sense, both as a spherical segment in the sense of a dome and in two directions perpendicular to one another, that is, convexly shaped in the X and Y directions.
  • the flat design of the contacts enables a particularly narrow busbar to be dimensioned, since the width of the slot into which the connection part is inserted with the contacts held on it can be very small.
  • the new shape of the respective contact creates lead-in bevels, which facilitate the assembly of the contact element in every direction.
  • the height of the U-shaped profile rail is smaller than the thickness of the furniture panel provided with a longitudinal groove, which in turn corresponds in depth to the height of the profile rail, so that the profile rail is flush with the surface with the adjacent surface of the furniture panel results.
  • the longitudinal slot in particular in combination with the new contact element, can be kept very small, the distance between the two contact strips being smaller than the associated dimension of contact elements of the consumer, so that the Contact elements of the consumer securely, possibly frictionally engaged.
  • the profile rail is preferably made of plastic, the cross-section of which is designed in such a way that on the one hand the contact strips are held in a form-fitting manner and on the other hand receiving chambers are provided in which latching projections of a power feeder and adapters engage.
  • the profile rail which is U-shaped in function in cross-section, is present as an essentially flat structure prior to assembly, ie prior to insertion into a receptacle on the furniture side, for example said longitudinal groove, which has a film hinge in the area of an axis of symmetry, by which the two legs receiving the contact strips are pivoted to one another during assembly in such a way that the U-shape results.
  • This type of design of the profile rail enables particularly simple production and simple introduction and fastening of the contact strips, which reduces the costs accordingly overall.
  • the contact element can be designed differently, in each case having two contacts which are electrically separated from one another and are held on a connection part and each bear against one of the two contact strips.
  • the power feeder can be provided with a receiver so that the connected consumer can be switched on or dimmed via a transmitter, for example a remote control or a smartphone. Furthermore, the power feeder can correspond as a sensor with a furniture door, in particular for the interior lighting of a piece of furniture when the door is opened.
  • adapters in different design variants are also conceivable.
  • an axial adapter which is part of a linear lamp and which extends with its contacts in the longitudinal direction of the linear lamp.
  • the contacts of the adapter are arranged transversely to the longitudinal extension of the consumer so that it runs parallel to the busbar.
  • the adapter can, for example, have a USB connection for supplying voltage to a connected functional part, such as smartphones, tablets, battery lamps or the like.
  • a plurality of adapters can be connected to the busbar, the respective adapter being connected via a cable to a housing which is inserted adjacent to an opening made in a furniture base for a furniture lamp.
  • the contacts of the respective adapter that rest on the contact strips of the busbar are also convex or dome-shaped in the longitudinal direction of the contact strips and transversely thereto, so that a spherical design results.
  • the adapter can be held as a contact slide in the busbar, the contact slide being guided over a driver of a sliding door of a piece of furniture and a connecting line to the slide supplying a light attached to the sliding door with power.
  • connecting rails can be used to accommodate the busbar according to the invention, so that longitudinal grooves to be introduced separately are not required.
  • At least one magnet is positioned in the busbar, which is preferably in the longitudinal direction of the busbar is displaceable and which is in operative connection with a consumer, for example a lamp, when in use.
  • the consumer has a correspondence element in the form of a magnetic metal part.
  • the magnet is mounted in an undercut receiving groove in such a way that it is prevented from shifting in such a way that the, for example, connected lamp is securely held even when the busbar is aligned vertically. Additional fastening, e.g. by screwing, is not required. Nevertheless, the magnet can be moved into any desired position with appropriate manual effort, which of course has a clear advantage in terms of design options.
  • a busbar 1 of a busbar system which has a profile rail 2 with an approximately U-shaped cross section, preferably made of plastic, with two opposing contact strips 3 held on the legs of the profile rail 2, which according to the invention in the mutually facing direction in cross section are convex, which is particularly evident in the Figure 2 is recognizable.
  • busbar 1 is embedded in a longitudinal groove 6 of a furniture panel 5 and held therein by means of harpoon bars 9 in a frictionally engaged manner.
  • busbar 1 is flush with the adjacent surface of the furniture panel 5 on its open side forming a longitudinal slot 4.
  • the contact strips 3 are each held in a form-fitting manner in a groove 7 of the associated wall of the profile rail 2, but can also be glued.
  • the respective contact strip 3 lies against the base of the groove 7, the contour of which is adapted to the contour of the contact strip 3.
  • an adapter 10 connected to a consumer 12 in the form of a strip-shaped lamp can be seen as a further component of the busbar system, which adapter 10 has electrically separated contacts 11 which, when in operation, are in contact with one of the two contact strips 3.
  • the contacts 11 are inserted into a housing that has a sword-shaped connection part 11 'with latching lugs on its underside, which forms both a receptacle for the contacts 11 and a holder in the busbar 1, the thickness of the connection part 11' being about Width of the slot 4 corresponds.
  • connection part 11 ′ On the side facing away from the connection part 11 ′, the housing is closed by a cover 13. A form-fitting mounting of the adapter 10 and a power feeder 14 described below is achieved by the locking lugs of the connection part 11 ′, which engage in locking chambers 8 of the profile rail 2.
  • this can be provided with a coding which corresponds to a coding of the current feeder 14 or the adapter 10 that is adapted to it.
  • a current feeder 14 which can be inserted laterally into the busbar 1 is shown, which is connected via a cable 15 to a power source, preferably a transformer, and which also has two contacts 11 that are electrically separated from one another.
  • the power feeders 14 shown differ in size, the larger power feeder 14 according to FIG Figure 4 for example, may have a radio receiver or the like.
  • FIG 8 Another exemplary embodiment of an adapter 10 can be seen, with contacts 11 and a USB connection 17, via which suitable devices such as smartphones, tablets, battery lights or the like can be operated or charged.
  • a particularly cost-effective implementation of the invention results when the housing of the adapter 10 and of the power feeder 14 are of identical design.
  • FIG. 9 Another variant is in the Figure 9 shown, which among other things enables simple and tool-free assembly of drawer lighting.
  • a holder 16 is held with fastening means on the furniture panel 5, the holder 16 being designed in such a way that it forms a support for the consumer 12 in the form of the lamp, which can also be used as a shelf support.
  • the power feeder 14 is electrically connected to the power rail 1, which is embedded in a furniture panel 5, as described above.
  • a plurality of adapters 10, via which lights which can be inserted into openings 19 can be operated, are electrically connected to the conductor 1, i.e., as described above, contacts of the adapter 10 are in contact with the contact strips 3 of the busbar 1.
  • a housing 18 ( Figure 11 ) connected, which has the contacts 11, which can be brought into connection with the respective associated lamp.
  • the housing 18 is let into a blind hole-like recess in the furniture panel 5 in such a way that it is flush with the wall of the opening 19.
  • busbar 1 is shown consisting of two halves lying in one plane, which through a film hinge 20 are connected to one another, wherein the two halves are substantially symmetrical.
  • the two halves of the busbar 1 When inserted into a longitudinal groove 6 of the furniture panel 5, the two halves of the busbar 1 are pivoted relative to one another in a U-shape, whereby they then rest against the walls of the longitudinal groove 6.
  • the profile rail 2 has an undercut receiving groove 22 in the region of the slot 4, in which a magnet 23, which is cuboid in the example, rests in a displacement-inhibited manner.
  • the clear cross-sectional dimension of the receiving groove 22 is slightly smaller than the assigned cross-sectional dimension of the magnet 23, so that it forms a friction pairing with the adjacent wall of the receiving groove 22.
  • busbar 1 is shown in a mounted position inserted into the furniture panel 5 on the underside.
  • a consumer 12 for example a lamp, is held on the busbar 1 in a schematic illustration, specifically in cooperation with the magnet 23.
  • a magnetic metal plate 24 attached to the consumer 12 corresponds to this in the sense of holding.
  • a contact element 25 according to the invention as a transformer in the form of an angle connector is shown in perspective, while the Figure 16b ) reproduces the angle connector in a front view, seen in the direction of the arrow X.
  • connection parts 11 ′ which are at right angles to one another, are each plugged into a busbar 1 in operation.
  • Each busbar 1 can thus carry a load 12, which is then supplied with power.
  • the contact element 25 is shown as a transformer configured as a linear or axial connector, with which two busbars 1 lying end to end are electrically connected to one another.
  • the Figure 18 shows a perspective view of the contact element 25 as a carrier for a consumer 12, which in the example is designed as a lamp.
  • connection part 11 ′ is designed in the manner of a slide and, in function, can be displaced along the longitudinal slot 4 of the busbar 1.
  • a power feeder 14 shows Figure 20 , although the housing 8 can be connected to the busbar 1 in a stationary manner.
  • FIG. 21a A contact designed according to the invention is shown in detail in FIG Figures 21a) to 21c ) recognizable. These contacts 11 are also in the Figure 3 pictured.
