L'invention concerne une pompe à vis (1), en particulier une pompe à double vie, comprenant un carter (2, 7, 15, 21) en plusieurs parties et au moins deux rotors (3, 3a) couplés formant une chambre et présentant chacun au moins un profilage (4, 4a) de type filetage au moins par endroits et doté de canaux (5, 5a) en forme de vis ainsi que de parois de séparation (6, 6a) délimitant les canaux (5, 5a), les rotors (3, 3a) exercent une rotation rotorique en sens opposé et les parois de séparation (6, 6a) s'engrènent à la manière de dents, une partie carter périphérique (7), laquelle partie de carter de vis (7) entoure les rotors (3, 3a) sans contact, lesdits rotors (3, 3a) formant conjointement avec la partie carter périphérique (7) au moins une chambre de refoulement (8, 8a) pour le fluide à refouler, la chambre de refoulement (8, 8a) se déplace axialement le long des axes de rotor (10, 10a) et refoule le fluide, d'une chambre d'aspiration à un espace de pression (12), un élément de raccordement côté aspiration (13), en communication fluidique avec la chambre d'aspiration (11) et un élément de raccordement côté pression (14), en communication fluidique avec avec l'espace de pression (12), l'élément de raccordement côté aspiration (13) et l'élément de raccordement côté pression (14) étant montés sur une partie carter de raccordement (15) du carter (2, 7, 15, 21) en plusieurs parties, ledit carter (2, 7, 15, 21) présentant un plan de séparation (16) plan, parallèle aux axes de rotor (10, 10a), situé entre la partie carter périphérique (7) et la partie carter de raccordement (15).
