- the spring cup thus forms a stop for the hinge housing and the main spring arranged therein.
- the hinge housing is then also held in a secure position for the further movement of the door towards the open position, so that the basic position of the main spring as such does not change as an entire spring on this further path of movement of the door towards the open position, but only the main spring is expanded in itself, whereby the desired spring force is applied to hold the door against an undesirably hard stop when moving into the stowage space. From the intermediate position onwards, the hinge housing is in block with the spring cup.
- the main spring is inactive on the movement path between the closed position and the intermediate position of the door and thus on this first movement path section with respect to a spring force caused by a change in length.
