Description
- Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung für den Inkjet-Druck, umfassend einen Druckbalken mit einer ersten Düsengruppe und mindestens einer zweiten Düsengruppe.
- In
DE 197 43 804 A1 ist eine Druckvorrichtung beschrieben, die eine Flussanordnung aufweist, welche zur Versorgung einzelner Druckköpfe sowohl mit Tinte als auch mit einem Reinigungsfluid dient. Für die Gesamtheit der Druckköpfe sind ein Tintenvorratsbehälter und ein Reinigungsflüssigkeitstank vorhanden. Die Reinigungsflüssigkeit wird abwechselnd mit der Tinte an die Druckköpfe geleitet. Es ist ein Vorlauf vorhanden, der nacheinander Dreiergruppen von Druckköpfen mit Tinte bzw. mit Reinigungsflüssigkeit beaufschlagt. - Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine weitere Vorrichtung für den Inkjet-Druck zu schaffen.
- Die Aufgabe wird durch eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung für den Inkjet-Druck gelöst, die einen Druckbalken mit einer ersten Düsengruppe, mindestens einer zweiten Düsengruppe, einem gemeinsamen Tintentank für die erste Düsengruppe und die zweite Düsengruppe und mit einem gemeinsamen Spülmitteltank für die erste Düsengruppe und die zweite Düsengruppe umfasst, wobei Mittel zum wahlweisen Verbinden der ersten Düsengruppe und der zweiten Düsengruppe mit dem Spülmitteltank vorhanden sind.
- Das Spülmittel, welches sich in dem Spülmitteltank befindet, ist eine von der Tinte in dem Tintentank verschiedene Flüssigkeit. Bei dem Spülmittel kann es sich um eine Befeuchtungsflüssigkeit oder um eine Reinigungsflüssigkeit handeln.
- Der aus den Mitteln zum wahlweisen Verbinden der ersten Düsengruppe mit der zweiten Düsengruppe mit dem Spülmitteltank resultierende Vorteil ist, dass jede Düsengruppe einzeln mit dem Spülmittel gespült werden kann, um im Inneren der betreffenden Düsengruppe festsitzende Partikel aufzulösen oder auszuspülen. In vorteilhafter Weise kann das Spülen der betreffenden Düsengruppe gezielt erfolgen, ohne dabei die übrigen Düsengruppen mit zu spülen. Dadurch können die Tintenverluste minimiert werden, die beim Spülen unvermeidbar auftreten.
- Es sind verschiedene Weiterbildungen der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung möglich.
- Bei einer Weiterbildung umfassen die Mittel zum wahlweisen Verbinden der ersten Düsengruppe und der zweiten Düsengruppe mit dem Spülmitteltank Ventile, welche erste Schaltstellungen und zweite Schaltstellungen aufweisen. In den ersten Schaltstellungen der Ventile ist mit dem Spülmitteltank die erste Düsengruppe verbunden und ist die zweite Düsengruppe mit dem Spülmitteltank nicht verbunden. In den zweiten Schaltstellungen ist mit dem Spülmitteltank die zweite Düsengruppe verbunden und ist die erste Düsengruppe mit dem Spülmitteltank nicht verbunden. Die Ventile sind auch als Ventilanordnungen bezeichenbar.
- Bei einer weiteren Weiterbildung weisen die Ventile dritte Schaltstellungen auf, in denen mit dem Spülmitteltank die erste Düsengruppe und gleichzeitig die zweite Düsengruppe verbunden sind.
- Bei einer weiteren Weiterbildung umfassen die Ventile Sperrventile.
- Bei einer weiteren Weiterbildung umfassen die Ventile Mehrwegeventile.
- Bei einer weiteren Weiterbildung sind in den ersten Schaltstellungen der Ventile der Spülmitteltank und die erste Düsengruppe Bestandteile eines ersten Kreislaufsystems, in dem ein Spülmittel umgewälzt wird.
- Bei einer weiteren Weiterbildung sind in den zweiten Schaltstellungen der Ventile der Spülmitteltank und die zweite Düsengruppe Bestandteile eines zweiten Kreislaufsystems, in dem das Spülmittel umgewälzt wird.

Figur 1 zeigt eine Digitaldruckmaschine mit einer Inkjetstation 8, in der ein Transportzylinder 7 für Bogen und darauf gerichtete Druckbalken 1 bis 6 angeordnet sind, von denen jeder eine andere Farbe druckt. Weiterhin umfasst die Digitaldruckmaschine ein Inspektionssystem 9 zum Inspizieren des in der Inkjetstation 8 auf die Bogen gedruckten Druckbildes. Das Inspektionssystem 9 kann eine Kamera sein und ist wie auch die Druckstation 8 mit einer elektronischen Steuerung 10 verbunden. Die Druckbalken 1 bis 6 sind in Bedruckstofftransportrichtung nacheinander angeordnet und jeder Druckbalken 1 bis 6 weist eine Reihe von Druckköpfen auf, welche sich senkrecht zur Zeichnungsebene derFigur 1 über die gesamte Druckbreite erstreckt. Die Druckbalken 1 bis 6 sind miteinander baugleich und ihr identischer Aufbau wird nachfolgend am Beispiel des Druckbalkens 1 erläutert. -
Figur 2 zeigt Bestandteile des Druckbalkens 1 aus einer der Transportrichtung des Bedruckstoffs entsprechenden Blickrichtung. Der Druckbalken 1 weist eine größere Anzahl von Druckköpfen auf, von denen nur zwei Druckköpfe gezeigt sind, die im Folgenden als erste Düsengruppe 11 und zweite Düsengruppe 12 bezeichnet werden. Jede Düsengruppe 11, 12 hat eine Düsenplatte 13, in welcher eine Vielzahl von Inkjet-Düsen zum Ausstoßen der Tinte münden. Die erste Düsengruppe 11, die zweite Düsengruppe 12 und auch die anderen Düsengruppen des Druckbalkens 1 sind über ein Leitungssystem an einen Tintentank 14 angeschlossen, aus welchem sie beim Drucken mit Tinte versorgt werden. Alle Düsengruppen 11, 12 des Druckbalkens 1 sind über das Leitungssystems an einen Spülmitteltank 15 angeschlossen, in welchem sich ein Spülmittel befindet, das zur Reinigung oder Wartung der Inkjet-Düsen der Düsengruppen 11, 12 dient. - Beim Drucken wird die Tinte aus dem Tintentank 14 über einen Zulaufverteiler 16 auf die Düsengruppen 11, 12 verteilt. Die nicht verdruckte, aus den Düsengruppen 11, 12 rücklaufende Tinte wird über einen Rücklaufverteiler 17, der im Prinzip eine Sammelleitung ist, in den Tintentank 14 zurück geleitet. Der Tintentank 14 ist über eine Tintenzulaufleitung 22 mit dem Zulaufverteiler 16 verbunden. In der Tintenzulaufleitung 22 ist eine erste Pumpe 18 angeordnet, welche die Tinte zu den Düsengruppen 11, 12 hin pumpt. Der Rücklaufverteiler 17 ist über eine Tintenrücklaufleitung 23 mit dem Tintentank 14 verbunden. In der Tintenrücklaufleitung 23 ist eine zweite Pumpe 19 angeordnet, welche die Tinte in den Tintentank 14 hinein pumpt. Eine dritte Pumpe 20 pumpt das Spülmittel aus dem Spülmitteltank 15 zu den Düsengruppen 11, 12 hin und ist in einer Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 angeordnet. Eine vierte Pumpe 21 pumpt das Spülmittel aus den Düsengruppen 11, 12 in den Spülmitteltank 15 zurück und ist in einer Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 angeordnet.
- Von dem Zulaufverteiler 16 zweigt eine der gesamten Anzahl von Druckköpfen - d. h. Düsengruppen - des Druckbalkens 1 entsprechende Anzahl von Zulaufverteilerabzweigungen ab. Dazu gehören eine erste Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 26, die zu der ersten Düsengruppe 11 führt, und eine zweite Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 27, die zu der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 führt. Die übrigen Zulaufverteilerabzweigungen, die zu den zeichnerisch nicht dargestellten Düsengruppen führen, sind zeichnerisch nicht mit dargestellt. In den Rücklaufverteiler 17 mündet eine der gesamten Anzahl der Düsengruppen des Druckbalkens 1 entsprechende Anzahl von Rücklaufverteilereinmündungen ein, von denen nur eine erste Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 48 und eine zweite Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 49 zeichnerisch mit dargestellt sind. Über die erste Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 48 ist die erste Düsengruppe 11 mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 verbunden und über die zweite Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 49 ist die zweite Düsengruppe 12 mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 verbunden.
- Die erste Düsengruppe 11 ist eingangsseitig an eine erste Druckkopfzuleitung 40 und ausgangsseitig an eine erste Druckkopfrückleitung 41 angeschlossen. Die zweite Düsengruppe 12 ist eingangsseitig an eine zweite Druckkopfzuleitung 42 und ausgangsseitig an eine zweite Druckkopfrückleitung 43 angeschlossen. Eine erste Ventilanordnung ist über die erste Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 26 mit dem Zulaufverteiler 16 und über die erste Druckkopfzuleitung 40 mit der ersten Düsengruppe 11 verbunden. Eine zweite Ventilanordnung ist über die erste Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 48 mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 und über die erste Druckkopfrückleitung 41 mit der ersten Düsengruppe 11 verbunden. Eine dritte Ventilanordnung ist über die zweite Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 27 mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 und über die zweite Druckkopfzuleitung 42 mit der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 verbunden. Eine vierte Ventilanordnung ist über die zweite Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 49 mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 und über die zweite Druckkopfrückleitung 43 mit der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 verbunden.
- Die erste Ventilanordnung umfasst ein erstes Sperrventil 32 und ein erstes Mehrwegeventil 33, das zwischen dem ersten Sperrventil 32 und der ersten Düsengruppe 11 angeordnet ist. Die zweite Ventilanordnung umfasst ein zweites Sperrventil 34 und ein zweites Mehrwegeventil 35, das zwischen dem zweiten Sperrventil 34 und der ersten Düsengruppe 11 angeordnet ist. Die dritte Ventilanordnung umfasst ein drittes Sperrventil 36 und ein drittes Mehrwegeventil 37, das zwischen dem dritten Sperrventil 36 und der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 angeordnet ist. Die vierte Ventilanordnung umfasst ein viertes Sperrventil 38 und ein viertes Mehrwegeventil 39, das zwischen dem vierten Sperrventil 38 und der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 angeordnet ist. Das erste, zweite, dritte und vierte Mehrwegeventil 33, 35, 37 und 39 sind 3/2-Wegeventile, also Wegeventile mit jeweils drei Anschlüssen und zwei Schaltstellungen.
- Das erste Sperrventil 32 ist eingangsseitig mit der ersten Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 26 verbunden und das dritte Sperrventil 36 ist eingangsseitig mit der zweiten Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 27 verbunden. Das zweite Sperrventil 34 ist ausgangsseitig mit der ersten Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 48 verbunden und das vierte Sperrventil 38 ist ausgangsseitig mit der zweiten Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 49 verbunden. Der Ausgang des ersten Mehrwegeventiles 33 ist mit der ersten Druckkopfzuleitung 40 verbunden und der Eingang des zweiten Mehrwegeventils 35 ist mit der ersten Druckkopfrückleitung 41 verbunden. Der Ausgang des dritten Mehrwegeventils 37 ist mit der zweiten Druckkopfzuleitung 42 verbunden und der Eingang des vierten Mehrwegeventils 39 ist mit der zweiten Druckkopfrückleitung 43 verbunden.
- Die Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 und die Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 sind Sammelleitungen. Von der Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 zweigen eine erste Verbindungsleitung 28 und eine dritte Verbindungsleitung 30 ab und in die Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 münden eine zweite Verbindungsleitung 29 und eine vierte Verbindungsleitung 31 ein. An den einen Eingang des ersten Mehrwegeventils 33 ist die erste Verbindungsleitung 28 angeschlossen und an den anderen Eingang des ersten Mehrwegeventils 33 ist das erste Sperrventil 32 über eine kurze Leitung (ohne Bezugszeichen) angeschlossen. An den einen Ausgang des zweiten Mehrwegeventils 35 ist die zweite Verbindungsleitung 29 angeschlossen und an den anderen Ausgang des zweiten Mehrwegeventils 35 ist das zweite Sperrventil 34 angeschlossen. An den einen Eingang des dritten Mehrwegeventils 37 ist die dritte Verbindungsleitung 30 angeschlossen und an den anderen Eingang des dritten Mehrwegeventils 37 ist das dritte Sperrventil 36 angeschlossen. An den einen Ausgang des vierten Mehrwegeventils 39 ist die vierte Verbindungsleitung 31 angeschlossen und an den anderen Ausgang des vierten Mehrwegeventils 39 ist das vierte Sperrventil 38 angeschlossen.
- Die Ventile 32 bis 39 haben jeweils einen Stellantrieb zum Schalten der Ventile und sind durch die Steuerung 10 fernsteuerbar. Wie bereits beschrieben, bestehen die erste, zweite dritte und vierte Ventilanordnung jeweils aus einem Sperrventil und einem Mehrwegeventil. Gemäß einer zeichnerisch nicht dargestellten Modifikation ist es möglich, die Funktion des Sperrventils und des Mehrwegeventils der jeweiligen Ventilanordnung in einem einzigen Mehrwegeventil zu vereinen, wobei in diesem Fall die erste, zweite, dritte und vierte Ventilanordnung jeweils nur aus einem einzigen Ventil besteht.
- Die in den
Figuren 2 bis 5 dargestellte Vorrichtung funktioniert folgendermaßen: -
Figur 2 zeigt den Modus "Druckbetrieb". Der Tintenfluss ist mit fetter Linie dargestellt. Die Tinte aus dem Tintentank 14 wird durch die erste Pumpe 18 über den Zulaufverteiler 16 und die erste Ventilanordnung und die dritte Ventilanordnung gleichzeitig in die erste und zweite Düsengruppe 11, 12 gepumpt. Durch die zweite Pumpe 19 wird die Tinte aus der ersten und zweiten Düsengruppe 11, 12 über die zweite Ventilanordnung und die vierte Ventilanordnung und den Rücklaufverteiler 17 in den Tintentank 14 zurück gepumpt. Bei diesem Kreislaufsystem befinden sich die Ventilanordnungen in folgenden Schaltstellungen: Das erste, zweite, dritte und vierte Sperrventil 32, 34, 36 und 38 sind auf Durchlass geschaltet. Das erste Mehrwegeventil 33 ist auf Durchlass vom ersten Sperrventil 32 zur ersten Düsengruppe 11 geschaltet, wobei in dem ersten Mehrwegeventil 33 der Weg zwischen der ersten Verbindungsleitung 28 und der ersten Druckkopfzuleitung 40 gesperrt ist. Das zweite Mehrwegeventil 35 ist auf Durchlass von der ersten Düsengruppe 11 zum zweiten Sperrventil 34 geschaltet, wobei in dem zweiten Mehrwegeventil 35 der Weg zwischen der ersten Druckkopfrückleitung 41 und der zweiten Verbindungsleitung 29 gesperrt ist. Die Ventile 36, 37 der dritten Ventilanordnung sind sinngemäß so geschaltet, wie die Ventile 32, 33 der ersten Ventilanordnung und die Ventile 38, 39 der vierten Ventilanordnung sind sinngemäß so geschaltet wie die Ventile 34, 35 der zweiten Ventilanordnung. Die dritte und vierte Pumpe 20, 21 arbeiten im Modus "Druckbetrieb" nicht. -
Figur 3 zeigt den Modus "Spülen nur der ersten Düsengruppe 11", wobei die erste und zweite Pumpe 18, 19 stillstehen. Mit fetter Linie ist der Spülmittelfluss dargestellt. Hierbei ist die erste Düsengruppe 11, sind aber nicht die zweite Düsengruppe 12 und die übrigen Düsengruppen in den Spülmittelkreislauf (erstes Kreislaufsystem) eingebunden. Die vierte Pumpe 21 pumpt das Spülmittel aus dem Spülmitteltank 15 über das erste Mehrwegeventil 33 in die erste Düsengruppe 11. Das erste Mehrwegeventil 33 befindet sich in einer Schaltstellung, in welcher der Weg zwischen der ersten Verbindungsleitung 28 und der ersten Druckkopfzuleitung 40 offen ist. Das dritte Mehrwegeventil 37 befindet sich in einer Schaltstellung, in welcher der Weg zwischen der dritten Verbindungsleitung 30 und der zweiten Druckkopfzuleitung 42 geschlossen ist. Die Ventilanordnungen der in der Zeichnung nicht mit dargestellten Düsengruppen sind genauso geschaltet wie die Ventilanordnungen der zweiten Düsengruppe 12. Somit gelangt das Spülmittel aus der Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 nur in die erste Düsengruppe 11 und nicht in die zweite Düsengruppe 12 und auch nicht in die übrigen Düsengruppen. Die dritte Pumpe 20 pumpt das Spülmittel aus der ersten Düsengruppe 11 über das zweite Mehrwegeventil 35 in den Spülmitteltank 15 zurück. Das zweite Mehrwegeventil 35 befindet sich in einer Schaltstellung, in welcher der Weg zwischen der ersten Druckkopfrückleitung 41 und der zweiten Verbindungsleitung 29 offen und der andere Weg geschlossen ist. -
Figur 4 zeigt den Modus "Spülen nur der zweiten Düsengruppe 12". Hierbei ist die zweite Düsengruppe 12, sind aber nicht die erste Düsengruppe 11 und die übrigen Düsengruppen in den Spülmittelkreislauf (zweites Kreislaufsystem) eingebunden. Die Schaltstellungen der dritten und vierten Ventilanordnung sind inFigur 4 sinngemäß so wie die bereits im Detail beschriebenen Schaltstellungen der ersten und zweiten Ventilanordnung inFigur 3 . Außerdem ist inFigur 4 die Schaltstellung der ersten Ventilanordnung so, wie die Schaltstellung der dritten Ventilanordnung inFigur 3 . -
Figur 5 zeigt den Modus "Gleichzeitiges Spülen mehrerer Düsengruppen 11, 12", wobei die erste und zweite Düsengruppe 11, 12 und gegebenenfalls auch alle übrigen Düsengruppen des Druckbalkens 1 gleichzeitig gespült werden. Hierbei befinden sich die der ersten Düsengruppe 11 zugeordneten ersten und zweiten Ventilanordnungen in ihren inFigur 3 bereits dargestellten Schaltstellungen und die der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 zugeordneten dritten und vierten Ventilanordnungen in ihren inFigur 4 bereits dargestellten Schaltstellungen. Anhand des mit fetter Linie dargestellten Spülmittelflusses ist ohne weiteres erkennbar, dass beide Düsengruppen 11, 12 in dem Kreislaufsystem miteinander parallelgeschaltet sind. Auch in diesem Spülmodus sind die erste und zweite Pumpe 18, 19 passiv und arbeiten nur die dritte und vierte Pumpe 20, 21. - In den drei Modi zum Spülen nach
Figur 3 ,4 und5 kann gemäß einer Modifikation ein Wechsel der Spülrichtung erfolgen. Dazu sind die dritte und vierte Pumpe 20, 21 als Reversierpumpen mit Förderstromumkehr durch Drehrichtungswechsel des Pumpenmotors ausgebildet. Im Reversierbetrieb pumpt die dritte Pumpe 20 das Spülmittel aus dem Spülmitteltank 15 in die erste und/oder zweite Düsengruppe 11, 12 und pumpt die vierte Pumpe 21 das Spülmittel wieder in den Spülmitteltank 15 zurück. - Gemäß einer weiteren Modifikation kann in einer Betriebsart "Intensivspülen" die Drehrichtung nur der dritten Pumpe 20 umgekehrt werden, so dass beide Pumpen 20, 21 gleichzeitig das Spülmittel aus dem Spülmitteltank 15 in die erste und/oder zweite Düsengruppe 11, 12 pumpen. Hierbei werden Verunreinigungen, wie Tintenpartikel, durch die Inkjet-Düsen in der Düsenplatte 13 ausgestoßen. Die Sperrventile 32, 34, 36 und 38 sind beim "Intensivspülen" geschlossen.
- Gemäß einer weiteren Modifikation arbeitet beim Spülen nur eine der beiden Pumpen 20, 21. Es wird dabei entweder nur der Zulaufpfad oder nur der Rücklaufpfad der jeweiligen Düsengruppe oder Düsengruppen gespült. Im Fall, dass nur die dritte Pumpe 20 arbeitet, läuft diese im Reversierbetrieb. Das in der Druckkopfzuleitung jeder zu spülender Düsengruppe angeordnete Mehrwegeventil befindet sich in der Schaltstellung, in der der Durchfluss aus der Druckkopfzuleitung in die von dem Mehrwegeventil zur Spülmittelzulaufleitung führende Verbindungsleitung geschlossen ist. Im Fall, dass nur die vierte Pumpe 21 arbeitet, läuft diese nicht im Reversierbetrieb, sondern im Normalbetrieb. Das in der Druckkopfrückleitung jeder zu spülender Düsengruppe angeordnete Mehrwegeventil befindet sich in der Schaltstellung, in der der Durchfluss aus der Druckkopfrückleitung in die von dem Mehrwegeventil zur Spülmittelrücklaufleitung führende Verbindungsleitung geschlossen ist.
- In den
Figuren 6 bis 9 ist ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel gezeigt, wobei für Bauteile, welche mit Bauteilen des ersten Ausführungsbeispiels in denFiguren 2 bis 5 funktionsgleich sind, die gleichen Bezugszeichen wie dort verwendet worden sind.Figuren 6 bis 9 liegt die gleiche Blickrichtung wieFiguren 2 bis 5 zugrunde und auch bezüglich der Anordnung der Reihe von Düsengruppen (Druckköpfen) unterscheiden sich die beiden Ausführungsbeispiele voneinander nicht. - Bei dem zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Tintentank 14 über die Tintenzulaufleitung 22 mit dem Zulaufverteiler 16 verbunden. In der Tintenzulaufleitung 22 sind die erste
- Pumpe 18 und eine Ventilanordnung angeordnet, welche ein Zulaufsperrventil 46 und ein Zulaufmehrwegeventil 47 umfasst, welches ein 3/2-Wegeventil ist. Der Rücklaufverteiler 17 ist mit dem Tintentank 14 über die Tintenrücklaufleitung 23 verbunden, in welcher die zweite Pumpe 19 und eine weitere Ventilanordnung angeordnet sind, die ein Rücklaufsperrventil 44 und ein Rücklaufmehrwegeventil 45 umfasst, das ein 3/2-Wegeventil ist. Das Zulaufmehrwegeventil 47 ist zwischen dem Zulaufsperrventil 46 und der ersten Pumpe 18 angeordnet und das Rücklaufinehrwegeventil 45 ist zwischen dem Rücklaufsperrventil 44 und der zweiten Pumpe 19 angeordnet. Die erste Pumpe 18 ist zwischen der in der Tintenzulaufleitung 22 angeordneten Ventilanordnung und dem Zulaufverteiler 16 angeordnet und die zweite Pumpe 19 ist zwischen der in der Tintenrücklaufleitung 23 angeordneten Ventilanordnung und dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 angeordnet.
- Der Spülmitteltank 15 ist über eine Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 mit der Ventilanordnung verbunden, welche in der Tintenzulaufleitung 22 angeordnet ist. Genauer gesagt, ist die Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 an einen Anschluss des Zulaufmehrwegeventils 47 angeschlossen. An die beiden anderen Anschlüsse des Zulaufmehrwegeventils 47 sind das Zulaufsperrventil 46 und die erste Pumpe 18 angeschlossen. Der Spülmitteltank 15 ist über die Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 mit der Ventilanordnung verbunden, die in der Tintenrücklaufleitung 23 angeordnet ist. Genauer gesagt, ist die Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 an einen Anschluss des Rücklaufmehrwegeventils 45 angeschlossen. An die beiden anderen Anschlüsse des Rücklaufmehrwegeventils 45 sind das Rücklaufsperrventil 44 und die zweite Pumpe 19 angeschlossen.
- Von dem Zulaufverteiler 16 zweigen die erste Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 26 und die zweite Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 27 ab. Die erste Ventilanordnung, welche nur aus dem ersten Sperrventil 32 besteht, ist über die erste Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 26 mit dem Zulaufverteiler 16 und über die erste Druckkopfzuleitung 40 mit der ersten Düsengruppe 11 verbunden. Die erste Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 26 ist an den Eingang und die erste Druckkopfzuleitung 40 an den Ausgang des ersten Sperrventils 32 angeschlossen. Der Zulaufverteiler 16 ist über die dritte Ventilanordnung, welche nur aus dem dritten Sperrventil 36 besteht, mit der zweiten Düsengruppe 12 verbunden. An den Eingang des dritten Sperrventils 36 ist die zweite Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 27 angeschlossen und an den Ausgang die zweite Druckkopfzuleitung 42.
- In den Rücklaufverteiler 17 münden die erste Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 48 und die zweite Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 49 ein. Die erste Düsengruppe 11 ist über die zweite Ventilanordnung, welche nur aus dem zweiten Sperrventil 34 besteht, mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 verbunden. An den Eingang des zweiten Sperrventils 34 ist die erste Druckkopfrückleitung 41 angeschlossen und an den Ausgang des zweiten Sperrventils 34 ist die erste Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 48 angeschlossen. Die zweite Düsengruppe 12 ist über die vierte Ventilanordnung, welche nur aus dem vierten Sperrventil 38 besteht, mit dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 verbunden. An den Eingang des vierten Sperrventils 38 ist die zweite Druckkopfrückleitung 43 angeschlossen und an den Ausgang des vierten Sperrventils 38 ist die zweite Rücklaufverteilereinmündung 49 angeschlossen. Beim zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel können, wie bereits mit Bezug auf das erste Ausführungsbeispiel erläutert, außer der ersten und zweiten Düsengruppe 11, 12 weitere Düsengruppen an die Verteiler 16, 17 angeschlossen sein.

Figur 6 zeigt den Modus "Druckbetrieb". Der Tintenfluss ist mit fetter Linie dargestellt. Das Zulaufmehrwegeventil 47 befindet sich in einer Schaltstellung, in welcher der Weg zwischen dem Zulaufsperrventil 46 und der ersten Pumpe 18 offen ist und der Weg zwischen der Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 und der ersten Pumpe 18 geschlossen ist. Das Rücklaufmehrwegeventil 45 befindet sich in einer Schaltstellung, in welcher der Weg zwischen der zweiten Pumpe 19 und dem Rücklaufsperrventil 44 offen ist und der Weg zwischen der zweiten Pumpe 19 und der Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 geschlossen ist. Die Sperrventile 32, 34, 36, 38, 44 und 46 befinden sich jeweils in einer Schaltstellung, in welcher der Durchflussweg in ihnen offen ist. Die erste Pumpe 18 pumpt die Tinte aus dem Tintentank 14 in den Zulaufverteiler 16. Die Tinte gelangt aus dem Zulaufverteiler 16 über das erste und dritte Sperrventil 32, 36 in die Düsengruppen 11, 12 und aus diesen über das zweite und vierte Sperrventil 34, 38 in den Rücklaufverteiler 17. Die zweite Pumpe 19 pumpt die Tinte aus dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 in den Tintentank 14 zurück. Innerhalb des Kreislaufsystems der Tinte sind die erste Düsengruppe und die zweite Düsengruppe und die zeichnerisch nicht mit dargestellten weiteren Düsengruppen des Druckbalkens 1 miteinander parallelgeschaltet. -
Figur 7 zeigt den Modus "Spülen ausschließlich der ersten Düsengruppe 11". Hierbei ist das Zulaufmehrwegeventil 47 in eine Schaltstellung geschaltet, in welcher der Weg von der Spülmittelzulaufleitung 24 zur ersten Pumpe 18 offen ist. Das Rücklaufmehrwegeventil 45 ist in eine Schaltstellung geschaltet, in welcher der Weg von der Tintenrücklaufleitung 23 in die Spülmittelrücklaufleitung 25 offen ist. Die Sperrventile 36, 38, 44 und 46 sind geschlossen und die Sperrventile 32 und 34 sind offen. Die erste Pumpe 18 pumpt das Spülmittel aus dem Spülmitteltank 15 über das Zulaufmehrwegeventil 47 in den Zulaufverteiler 16 und über letzteren und das erste Sperrventil 32 (erste Ventilanordnung) in die erste Düsengruppe 11. Dabei gelangt das Spülmittel aus dem Zulaufverteiler 16 über die zweite Zulaufverteilerabzweigung 27 nicht in die zweite Düsengruppe 12, weil das dritte Sperrventil 36 (dritte Ventilanordnung) einen solchen Spülmittelfluss blockiert. Das Spülmittel aus der ersten Düsengruppe 11 gelangt über die erste Druckkopfrückleitung 41, in welche das zweite Sperrventil 34 (zweite Ventilanordnung) integriert ist, in den Rücklaufverteiler 17. Die zweite Pumpe 19 pumpt das Spülmittel aus dem Rücklaufverteiler 17 über das Rücklaufmehrwegeventil 45 in den Spülmitteltank 15 zurück. Das Spülmittel wird in diesem Modus somit von denselben Pumpen 18, 19 umgewälzt wie im Modus "Druckbetrieb" die Tinte. -
Figur 8 zeigt den Modus "Spülen ausschließlich der zweiten Düsengruppe 12". Hierbei sind die Sperrventile 32, 34, 44 und 46 geschlossen und die Sperrventile 36 und 38 offen. Die Schaltstellungen der Mehrwegeventile 45, 47 sind die gleichen wie beim Modus inFigur 7 . Anhand des mit fetter Linie verdeutlichtem Spülmittelflusses ist erkennbar, dass nur die zweite Düsengruppe 12 in das Kreislaufsystem (zweites Kreislaufsystem) des Spülmittels eingebunden ist. -
Figur 9 zeigt den Modus "Spülen der ersten Düsengruppe 11 und gleichzeitig der zweiten Düsengruppe 12". In diesem Modus können auch sämtliche weitere Düsengruppen des Druckwerkes 1, die zeichnerisch nicht mit dargestellt sind, gespült werden. Die Sperrventile 32, 34, 36 und 38 sind offen und die Sperrventile 44 und 46 sind geschlossen. - Die Schaltstellungen der Mehrwegeventile 45 und 47 entsprechen deren Schaltstellungen in den
Figuren 7 und8 . Anhand des mit fetter Linie hervorgehobenen Spülmittelflusses ist ersichtlich, dass die erste und zweite Düsengruppe 11, 12 in dem Kreislaufsystem miteinander parallelgeschaltet sind. - Bei allen beschriebenen Modi zum Spülen kann der Spülvorgang automatisiert durch die Steuerung 10 ausgelöst werden, wenn der Steuerung 10 von dem Inspektionssystem 9 ein Signal dazu gegeben worden ist, nachdem das Inspektionssystem 9 im Druckbild Fehler festgestellt hat, mit deren Positionen die Positionen der dann zu spülenden Düsengruppen korrespondieren.

Claims (7)
- Vorrichtung für den Inkjet-Druck, umfassend einen Druckbalken (1-6) mit- einer ersten Düsengruppe (11),- mindestens einer zweiten Düsengruppe (12),- einem gemeinsamen Tintentank (14) für die erste Düsengruppe (11) und die zweite Düsengruppe (12) und- einem gemeinsamen Spülmitteltank (15) für die erste Düsengruppe (11) und die zweite Düsengruppe (12),wobei Mittel zum wahlweisen Verbinden der ersten Düsengruppe (11) und der zweiten Düsengruppe (12) mit dem Spülmitteltank (15) vorhanden sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1,
wobei die Mittel zum wahlweisen Verbinden Ventile mit- ersten Schaltstellungen, in denen mit dem Spülmitteltank (15) die erste Düsengruppe (11) verbunden ist und die zweite Düsengruppe (12) nicht verbunden ist, und- zweiten Schaltstellungen, in denen mit dem Spülmitteltank (15) die zweite Düsengruppe (12) verbunden ist und die erste Düsengruppe (11) nicht verbunden ist,umfassen. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2,
wobei die Ventile dritte Schaltstellungen aufweisen, in denen mit dem Spülmitteltank (15) die erste Düsengruppe (11) und gleichzeitig die zweite Düsengruppe (12) verbunden sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2 oder 3,
wobei die Ventile Sperrventile (32, 34, 36, 38, 44, 46) umfassen. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4,
wobei die Ventile Mehrwegeventile (33, 35, 37, 39, 45, 47) umfassen. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5,
wobei in den ersten Schaltstellungen der Spülmitteltank (15) und die erste Düsengruppe (11) Bestandteile eines ersten Kreislaufsystems sind, in dem ein Spülmittel umgewälzt wird. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 6,
wobei in den zweiten Schaltstellungen der Spülmitteltank (15) und die zweite Düsengruppe (12) Bestandteile eines zweiten Kreislaufsystems sind, in dem das Spülmittel umgewälzt wird.
