    - eine Schneidvorrichtung (7), die es ermöglicht, Scheiben von dem Brot (3) abzuschneiden, wenn dieses von dem Laderaum (1) in Richtung des Aufnahmeraums (4) bewegt wird,
    - eine Auflagefläche (2) für das Brot (3), die sich in den zwei Räumen erstreckt und eine Bewegungsrichtung des Brotes (3) parallel zu der Auflagefläche (2) definiert,
    - einen in der Auflagefläche (2) zwischen den oben genannten Räumen (1, 4) vorgesehenen ersten Spalt (5), der sich im Wesentlichen quer in Bezug auf die Bewegungsrichtung erstreckt und durch den sich die Schneidvorrichtung (7) in einer hin- und hergehenden Bewegung gemäß der Längsrichtung dieses ersten Spalts (5) bewegen kann, um Scheiben von dem Brot (3) abzuschneiden,
    - eine Führungsfläche, die eine Wand des Laderaums (1) bildet und sich in der Bewegungsrichtung im Wesentlichen quer in Bezug auf die Auflagefläche (2) erstreckt,
    - eine bewegliche Auflage (6) zum Halten des geschnittenen Teils des Brotes (3), wobei Antriebsmittel vorgesehen sind, die es ermöglichen, die bewegliche Auflage (6) in der Bewegungsrichtung des Brotes (3) zu bewegen,
    wobei diese Maschine dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass sie eine Stützfläche (16) umfasst, die sich in dem Aufnahmeraum (4) in der Verlängerung der Führungsfläche (2) erstreckt und von der Letztgenannten durch einen zweiten Spalt (12) getrennt ist, um den Durchgang der Schneidvorrichtung (7) durch diesen zweiten Spalt (12) zu ermöglichen, wobei auf die Stützfläche (16) eine Gleitfläche (17) folgt, die eine Ausbauchung des Aufnahmeraums (4) bildet, die einen freien Fall einer abgeschnittenen Scheibe (15) des Brotes (3) in Richtung des bereits geschnittenen Teils des Brotes ermöglicht.
  2. Maschine nach Anspruch 1, umfassend eine Rinne, die sich in der Bewegungsrichtung des Brotes erstreckt, um das Letztgenannte bei seiner Bewegung zwischen dem Laderaum (1) und dem Aufnahmeraum (4) zu führen, wobei diese Rinne einen durch die oben genannte Auflagefläche (2) gebildeten Boden und eine Seitenwand aufweist, welche die Führungsfläche (11), die Stützfläche (16) und die Gleitfläche (17) umfasst, wobei die Letztgenannte eine Ausbauchung der Rinne in einer Richtung im Wesentlichen parallel zur Auflagefläche (2) bildet.
  3. Maschine nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Schneidvorrichtung (7) eine kreisförmige Klinge (8) umfasst, die sich in der Schneidebene erstreckt, wobei diese Klinge (8) an einem Antriebsarm (18) montiert ist, der es ermöglicht, die Klinge (8) in eine hin- und hergehende Bewegung in der Schneidebene zu versetzen, während die Klinge (8) um ihre Mittelachse angetrieben wird.
  4. Maschine nach Anspruch 3, wobei der oben genannte Antriebsarm (18) ein Ende (19) umfasst, an dem die Klinge (8) montiert ist, wobei dieses Ende (19) eine Seitenfläche aufweist, die winkelförmig geneigt ist.
  5. Maschine nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, wobei der Antriebsarm (18) an der Unterseite der Klinge (8) montiert ist.
  6. Maschine nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Gleitfläche (17) Folgendes umfasst: einen in Bezug auf die Bewegungsrichtung geneigten Teil, der mit der Stützfläche (16) verbunden ist, und einen Teil, der sich im Wesentlichen parallel zu der Führungsfläche (2) erstreckt.
  7. Maschine nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei der Aufnahmeraum (4) eine Seitenwand aufweist, welche die Stützfläche (16) und die Gleitfläche (17) umfasst.
  8. Maschine nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, aufweisend einen Schieber (13) mit Haltemitteln (14), die es ermöglichen, das obere Ende des Brotes (3) zu ergreifen, wobei dieser Schieber (13) in der Bewegungsrichtung des Brotes (3) beweglich ist, was es ermöglicht, das Brot (3), wenn es in Scheiben geschnitten wird, in Richtung des Aufnahmeraums (4) oder in die umgekehrte Richtung zu bewegen.
  9. Maschine nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei die Führungsfläche (11) mit einem Winkel (α) von weniger als 30° oder weniger als 15° in Bezug auf die vertikale Richtung geneigt ist, wobei dieser Winkel
    (α) vorzugsweise kleiner als 10° ist oder in der Größenordnung von 5°, zum Beispiel bei 3°, liegt.
  10. Verfahren zum automatischen Schneiden eines Brotes (3) oder analogen Lebensmittels in Scheiben, wobei ein Brot (3) in einem Laderaum (1) an einer Auflagefläche (2) und an einer Führungsfläche (11) angeordnet wird, die sich im Wesentlichen quer zu der Auflagefläche (2) erstreckt, sodass ein Bereich (20) des Brotes (3), der den größten Querschnitt quer in Bezug auf die Auflagefläche (2) aufweist, in Kontakt mit der Führungsfläche (11) gelangt, und wobei anschließend das Brot (3) bewegt wird, indem es in einer Bewegungsrichtung in Richtung eines Aufnahmeraums (4) abgesenkt wird, während es an der Auflagefläche (2) gleitet, wobei die Richtung im Wesentlichen vertikal oder mit einem Winkel von weniger als 45° in Bezug auf eine vertikale Richtung geneigt ist, wobei das Brot (3) zwischen dem Laderaum (1) und dem Aufnahmeraum (4) in einer Schneidebene durch eine Schneidvorrichtung (7) in Scheiben geschnitten wird, die sich in einer hin- und hergehenden Bewegung zur Seite der Führungsfläche (11) hin bewegt, wobei die abgeschnittenen Scheiben (15) nacheinander unter der Schneidebene gestapelt werden, wobei sie einen Stapel (21) bilden, der parallele Scheiben (15) in dem Aufnahmeraum (4) aufweist, wobei dieser Stapel (21) in der Bewegungsrichtung nach unten bewegt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beim Abschneiden einer Scheibe von dem Bereich (20) des Brotes (3) dieser Bereich (20) seitlich durch die Führungsfläche (11) über der Schneidebene und durch eine Stützfläche (16) unter dieser Ebene gehalten wird, während der Stapel in eine Entfernung von dieser Schneidebene bewegt wird, die größer als die Höhe der Stützfläche (16) in der Bewegungsrichtung des Brotes (3) plus die Dicke der betreffenden Scheibe (15) ist, um zu ermöglichen, dass diese Scheibe (15), nachdem sie abgeschnitten wurde, auf den Stapel (21) fällt.
  11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, wobei nach dem Anordnen des Brotes (3) an der Auflagefläche (2) das obere Ende des Brotes (3) ergriffen wird und dieses Ende des Brotes (3) bei seiner Abwärtsbewegung gegen die Schwerkraft gehalten wird, während die Scheiben (15) abgeschnitten werden.
  12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10 oder 11, wobei das Brot (3) in diskreten Schritten, die der Dicke der Scheiben (15) entsprechen, in Richtung des Aufnahmeraums (4) bewegt wird, wobei das obere Ende des Brotes (3) gehalten wird, bis es vollständig in Scheiben geschnitten wurde, wobei der durch das geschnittene Brot (3) gebildete Stapel (21) anschließend in der Bewegungsrichtung in Richtung des Laderaums (1) befördert wird, um es in geschnittenem Zustand entnehmen zu können.
  13. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 12, wobei der Stapel (21), nachdem das Brot (3) in Scheiben geschnitten wurde, angehoben wird, wobei der Bereich (20) im Aufnahmeraum (4) durch eine Gleitfläche (17), die benachbart zu der Stützfläche (16) ist, geführt wird.
